I am a regular protestor on Saturdays in Melbourne. Every week one to two thousand people deeply committed to freedom take to the streets to demand that justice replace the insane lockdown and mandate culture that has engulfed Australia and is at its worst in Victoria under a Socialist Left state government.
Large numbers of police are present and they sometimes have to deal with infiltrators who try to start trouble.
I have personally witnessed physical attacks by police on innocent people on Melbourne's streets.
I have been the victim of bullying and perjury by the police in my home, in the courts and at a police station as a result of wanting to stand up for democracy and human rights.
Not all police officers here are bad. My gut feeling is that most are good but that the force as a whole has become a political tool of the government.
If all the good people stand up for what is right, it might be possible to correct this situation.
We need your prayers.
Such is life in America that the police are required to kneel before rioters, looters and arsonists.
As a long time contributor to overclockers.com.au I will pray you are all ok
Your post is why I have no tolerance for liberalism. Once liberalism has established a beachhead, it will push itself outward until it has taken over society.
Australia, sooner or later, is going to fall prey to the mass kills that liberals are known to do. I’m sorry for what is about to happen in your country.
“I’m sorry for what is about to happen in your country.”

Watching the police on Aussie videos you see how they would make very “good Germans”.
In their newly adopted role as neutral observers and crime statisticians, therefore, they will not require any special "backing" from non-looting segments of the public.
Hang in there Mate!
You Aussies gave up your guns. Happens every time. Plus you stupidly think the cops work for you, they don’t. They work for the guy that pays them.
bttt
“My gut feeling is that most are good…”
I’m sure most are. But that’s irrelevant. Any organization is only as good as the worst psycho they tolerate in their ranks.

We feel and share your pain here in the colonies mate. Your first clue you were losing it were Howard’s gun laws.
I feel sorry for you guys down there. You are the last people that deserve this crap.
You and the Canadians...but, hopefully you can get them out of office-if your allowed to vote your choice ever again that is.
There is no honor among them any more.
Keep up the good fight.
Cops work for the government. They do not work for the citizens.
You can not tell which ones are good or bad. That is why with cops, one has to assume they are all bad and the enemy. It is logic, folks.
“... we need your prayers...”
You have them, Ozguy1945. We live in very weird times and we have to LEARN from what we are experiencing and seeing. Yes... not all cops are bad. However, they do as they are told by their superiors. Same as here. I don’t think for one second that law enforcement here wouldn’t arrest/harass/abuse citizens at the bequest of the political higher ups. Personally, I think the only way to educate people there (and here) is to post the abuse on social media. IMHO.
I know of a police department right now that has a bad officer. He got drunk, wrecked his truck, had his buddy slide over into the driver seat to take the rap and then went home so hammered he went to the wrong house and kicked in the door or a little old lady and threatened her before he realized he was in the wrong house. This was given to the chief of police and he did nothing, in fact he promoted the officer after he was told by the major to discipline him-he lied to the mayor! Which left the entire department going WTH!
This officer has violated the civil rights of many and arrested them or ordered officers to arrest innocent people. He’s violated department policy time and again. Several lieutenants, a sergeant and multiple patrolman have written formal complaints about the abuses of said officer and given it to the chief of police. His response: “you all wouldn’t make it as real police officers back in the day” and dismissed them.
The same bunch of concerned officers gathered even more abuses of civil rights, department policies and wrote written affidavits and went back to the chief two months later and he was again about to dismiss them and finally one of the lieutenants said look chief this is going to be entered into the record and if someone sues we are going to testify you covered this up, it’s your pension we are not taking the fall for this guy’s continued screw ups. Still the chief has not acted and eventually they had to take it to the city attorney who blew a gasket when they saw the activity of this one officer and the chief. The city attorney took it to the mayor and now it’s out there for him to deal with.
So the silent blue line is not so silent and good officers are willing to stand up and say this needs to stop, but when you have a dithering or corrupt chief they have to proceed slowly.
“Personally, I think the only way to educate people there (and here) is to post the abuse on social media. IMHO.”
This is eactly what I am doing mom to three ....... ite great to know you support this approach.
We need to understand what is happening in the heads of these enemies who should not be enemies.

The thin blue line (as it is called in Australia) is now a fat police state here.
