The strike also stops oil by rail shipments?

So much for international trade or global reliance. Time to get back to self sufficiency as best we can.

So they know a famine will occur if this happens, demand more money and walk off, knowing they could be dooming a lot of people to starvation.
Sounds reasonable to me. Are there any scabs who can load the cars?

How old is this story? The last report I saw a couple of days ago said the union agreed to go back to work after the company agreed to go to arbitration to settle the dispute.

Good Point.
We had a local lumber mill shut down [and it is now being dismantled] due to the local NF cutting back on cutting.
Likely BiXiden’s fault. ;-(

3/23 or 23/3 depending on where you are from.
If it’s settled that would be welcome news to post here.

The CPRS was ordered back to work Monday night after being on strike for 48 hours.
This is Fake News

Ten bucks says Trudeau will do nothing to break this strike.

Wednesday in Calgary, I was held up at a level crossing for 15 minutes, by a train. The two lead engines were CP, as was the ‘pusher’ engine at the back. I must assume it was a Canadian Pacific train.
The crew might have been management or perhaps strikebreakers.

One has to wonder how much residual damage has been done to that company after having a NYC hedge fund damn near destroy it.
