The cashless life won't be worth living

While they have us freaking out about “Ukraine,” our overlords are moving swiftly to rendition all of us into the global cyber-gulag of a social credit system, enabled by a digital currency doled out (or not) by the central banking system.

This report, from December, 2021, “assess[es] market opportunities for infrastructure support of the social credit market”—i.e., how to make a lot of money helping to set up that cyber-prison. Unless you’re reading it for “market opportunities,” you’re likely to be chilled by its dystopian implications.

One way to start fighting this development is to go back to using cash instead of cards as much as possible—starting with #CashFriday, as urged by Catherine Austin Fitts. This means that, every Friday, we use only cash to buy what we may need: https://home.solari.com/cash-friday/.

Think about what this development portends: No cash will mean no autonomy, as every purchase that you’ll want to make must be approved on high—approval that will be contingent on your social credit score.

That’s not going to happen. The world is moving to a new likely QFS system which still utilizes cash.

Cashless is coming. Cashless is basically here. All your whining is pointless.

So in your view, having an all-powerful state control every aspect of your life is just ducky!

Its worse than this……you will only be permitted to spend your money on what they allow, when they allow it, and where they allow it.

And you can only save money if they allow it. They can/will take your money at will. Use it or lose it. Negative interest rates.

You will never be in possession of your on money.

You will be a slave.

XD... it wasn’t a very good burrito. Yeah, inflation.

Have you bought Reddi whip lately? A couple months ago I picked up a can and it was only half full!! I thought the damn thing was leaking so I got another and they were all half full!

Didn’t Stalin take a third of everyone’s savings to pay for a budget shortfall or something?

Yes, you’re right. A slave indeed.

“And of course, Control. You are trying to complete a transaction that someone doesn’t approve, like buying a gun, buying anything, donating to FR, and then your transaction is blocked.”

My first reaction to the article is that they STILL do not get it, but you’re starting to catch on.

First of all, there’s nothing that says an individual ‘social credit score’ is even needed to oppress people.

And while the vast majority of people don’t actively shop for guns (since most who have them don’t need more), trying to make that case (which is legit, of course), only appeals to certain segment of the population.

The problem, as I see it, are OTHER ITEMS that could be banned or limited. Items that are perfectly legal, but we’re told they’re bad, either for humans or for the planet, or both. For example, we all know that farting cows are causing global warming (LOL), but what politician wants to go through the incredibly difficult effort of banning beef, or even taxing it heavily, since 90% of Americans eat beef and love it? Even AOC backed down from that effort.

But what if there’s a claim of a Climate Emergency and therefore we need to immediately reduce beef consumption. They won’t even have to bother with mass advertising, new taxes, or regulations, all it will take a few keystrokes. After that most families (maybe 80 million) will hear a loud buzz when the supermarket cashier swipes their third package of beef and then puts it in a basket for restocking, saying “sorry”, in the process. REASON: Your family exceeded their beef quota for the month. Just an example...literally applies to anything they want to limit.

That is the future. That is the Great Reset.

I’m getting to the cashless point with these inflated prices of everything.
= = =

My bank is going to issue a new credit card, this time 1/4 inch thick, due to inflation.

Uh, the headline states “cashless” which is what the post was about. The posted pix did not include “social credit”. Which was mentioned separately in the article, as ENABLED by cashlessness.

Not happening any time soon.

There are too many unbanked minority people.

By law pot shops can only take cash, even independent dealers generally will only take cash.

Crooked cops only take cash

Most prostitutes only take cash.

I do not know about that. But I do know that after the People [in their Infinite Wisdom] installed them, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Hillary, in the White House, they taxed every pension fund on record.

I pay for as many things as I can with cash. Just did so this morning.

“Now is the time to understand the world you live in and figure out how to deal.”

There is no dealing with this. They are in control and you will obey or else.

Currencies are a man made concept and change change when people decide to change them.

In some countries it is pretty much cash only. Not because they don’t have the technology but because they don’t trust their banks.

He isn't saying that. He is saying it is mostly a "done deal" and you won't be able to prevent it from becoming the only way society works. It all ties into how little We The People can actually affect our own governance.

Nope. I’m just pointing to reality. This is a sun rises in the east kind of thing. It’s how it works. Doesn’t matter if I like it. Doesn’t matter if you like it. Good, bad, cash is dead.

Well it’s cute that you’re addicted to being a dinosaur. Most folks don’t even think about it. Once the debit card got invented it was done. Add direct deposit. Electronic bill pay. Forget it. The vestiges of cash will remain for probably most of this century. But eventually it’s gonna just stop. The governments of the world will realize nobody is using it and stop printing it. And the even the dinosaurs will switch.

Oh no. There’s tons and tons of ways of dealing with it. You just gotta keep in mind that cash is going away. But there’s lots of hard to trace non-cash out there if you really want to keep your illusion of anonymity (there’s so many other ways to trace people it’s an illusion). Prepaid cards are probably the best. You can get em from vending machines, use em like debit cards. Of course there’s cameras everywhere, so they know. They always know.

The people already decided to change. We didn’t realize it at the time. But we did. In America we like to spend money as quickly and easily as possible. So once something more convenient than cash came to be cash was on the way out.

You should travel to South America, people still use cash.

They don’t trust the banking system, we met people who lost their entire life savings in one of their many bank failures.

Its not just about convenience but its also about trust.

This is why crypto is so popular, people are looking for a currency that preserves privacy and protects against inflation theft. I personally don’t believe in crypto because it is not as safe as people think, but it shows the demand for privacy and protection for inflation.

I will grant you that the trend is going your way, mostly due to ignorance of the people. Most have no idea what they are walking into.
