WTI Crude Oil spot price was up 91% from the beginning of 2021 to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Now it is up 142% thanks to the invasion of Ukraine.
Energy prices are still soaring with UK Natural Gas prices up another 34.70% today with Brent Crude futures up 3.34%. Wheat futures are up 7.03%.
The US Treasury 10Y yield rose 6.8 bps this morning (UK takes the lead with a 10.3 bps increase).
The US Treasury 10Y-2Y yield curve slope continues to swoon to where it is now flatter than when President Biden entered office.
Gold is now at it highest level since before Biden was sworn-in as President as WTI Crude Oil soars.
And Bankrate’s 30Y mortgage rate declined to 4.10%.
Russia is the world’s largest exporters of wheat and Ukraine is the 5th largest exporter.

Nearly a dollar this week rise in gas prices. Hmmm? Gas? Food? Prescriptions? If I only had an EV.................. My energy averaging just dropped $24/mth. Bet that doesn’t last long. We actually had(and have) an acquaintance that is a lib and had the nerve to say: “That poootin is really stickin’ it to us huh?” We had no words. Obvious cnn talking points.

Something to think about after years of Obama forcing many power companies to shut down coal plants and replace them with natural gas plants, and now Brandon blocks as much as he can the kind of drilling that supplies us with natural gas.
Stuff like that is why I put a bunch of solar panels onto my roof last year. If I could make my own natural gas or oil I would because those are very efficient. But at least with solar it's power I generate and I control for mine and my wife's needs -- at least that much of my energy expenses won't skyrocket because of the Dims' energy policies.
Fox just played a clip of the WH redhead scarecrow letting the cat out of the bag. When asked if the WH is considering reversing any energy policies she said “what overall we need to do is reduce our dependence on oil”.
This IS they’re plan.
Yep, and what do they think will recharge those EV’s they want us to buy. I can imagine sitting in -20deg bumper to bumper traffic with the heater going full blast; all those EV’s would be just .......

I live in a southern coastal state....hurricanes are always an issue during the season. I would hate to have to depend on a battery car in that circumstance.....and that’s only one of many scenarios i can think of that make an ev to say the least impractical.

A week ago based was $3.89. I just passed the station today and it’s now $4.49. In one week it’s closing in on an increase of $1.00 with no end in sight. $9.00 for 2 gallons of gas. When trump was president before the president was stolen from him, $9.00 woild get you 5 gallons
Most of these energy companies are in good shape at $65 and here we are a $118, awesome. Obama II, liberals can’t help themselves.
