Food Crisis Imminent: Hungary Bans All Grains Exports Effective Immediately
(Update 1:25pm ET) – Those who have it, are no longer giving it away, and those that don't will soon find themselves in the middle of an epic food crisis.
Just hours after we reported that Russia effectively banned exports of fertilizers, moments ago Hungary – one of Europe's most grain rich nations – has circled the wagons and realizing which way the wind is blowing, just announced that it will (begin) banning all grain exports effective immediately, in a statement .
Expect wheat prices, already at record highs, to promptly double from here in the next few weeks as the world realizes the extent of the global food crisis that is coming.
And unfortunately, we can now confidently predict that the coming food crisis will strike every country that is using food fertilizer – which is all – because moments ago, Russian Interfax reported that as part of Moscow's countersanctions, Russia has recommended fertilizer makers to halt exports, a move which will sent not only fertilizer prices orbitally higher, but all food prices will soon follow.
And with wheat prices already at all time highs.
All of this junk needs to stop.
The sale and transportation of fuel, fertilizer, and food should not be restricted because of pointless political posturing.
Messing with financial transactions also needs to stop.
That includes all cases where Russia is involved.
All of this junk is hurting millions of good people in many different countries.
Good thing Biden is in charge...
Isolate and cut off Russia until they leave Ukraine and pay restitution.
First food, fuel, and finance. Then a complete collapse of all trade and major global recession. Talk about the coming stagflation!
That would hurt all of the good people in Russia.
Additionally, the economic sanctions that are allegedly against Russia are already exacerbating an energy crisis in Western countries.
People in Western countries should not be sacrificed for pointless political posturing.

Things need to go the exact opposite way, with everything possible being done to ensure the free flow of fuel, fertilizer, food, and financial transactions.
Exactly. If every nation stops importing and exporting, we are going to be a HEAP lot more trouble than Ukraine.
And that's just the agricultural component of self-sufficiency (what this article is about regarding Hungary and Russia).
But this is the idea!
Worldwide hunger is the next step in building global fascist state. Expect the EU to be hit hard, but US will not escape unaffected either.

Of course, if depopulation is the goal, turning us all into Yemenis is the solution.

Taking actions that hurt millions of good people by messing with sales of fuel, fertilizer, and food in order to make stupid statements is pointless political posturing.

For politicians, and yes even modern Western ultra ethical, human rights, global, climate change and LGBTQIA+ embracing ones, these are all just tools that are used to force policies.
They do not care. It may sound calloused or even unbelievable, but there are humans out there that are so narcissistic, greedy and power hungry that they would literally watch millions starve in a problem they created so that they can push their ideology or somehow benefit themselves form it. The rationalization is ALWAYS the same: "some greater good."
