Russian state TV: “Our submarines alone can launch more than 500 nuclear warheads, which guarantees the destruction of the US and NATO for good measure. The principle is: why do we need the world if Russia won’t be in it?”

Leave it to Joe Biden to get the world in a nuclear war.

Seriously, this buffoon destroys everything he gets his shaky gray hands on and now, things are getting very uncomfortable with the Russia situation.

Joe Biden could’ve stopped this mess a long time ago, but he paved the way for Russia to be an aggressor by being a dementia patient, and also with his actions and inaction leading up to Russia invading Ukraine. And now, his “tough guy” rhetoric is just poking the bear. He’s writing a check his old wrinkly butt can’t cash.

Now, Russia is feeling the squeeze from US and NATO and Putin is backed into a corner, and lashing out.

...

Russia State TV just issued this chilling warning to the United States and all NATO countries:

“Russian state TV: “Our submarines alone can launch more than 500 nuclear warheads, which guarantees the destruction of the US and NATO for good measure. The principle is: why do we need the world if Russia won’t be in it?” ”

Human Events editor Jack Posobiec responded with: “US too. Submarine-launched nuclear missiles are a key factor of 2nd strike capability and Mutual Assured Destruction”

...

This is a suicide bomber mentality.

...

Is this typical Russian propaganda?

Maybe.

Or maybe not.

We don’t know the mental state of mind of Vladimir Putin, do we?

We don’t know how far he’s willing to push a man who he clearly knows has some “Alzheimer’s.” We don’t know what Putin will do if he truly feels that he is cornered and has nowhere left to go.

If Putin gets to the point where he’s a goner, he is signaling to the world that he will take everyone down with him.

...

Now, it could be hyperbole, but with Biden at the helm, do you really wanna roll those dice?

I don’t.

Here’s what people online are saying:

“US too, everyone knows it… But Russia is at war and EU and NATO are clearly supporting Ukraine. Ergo, they have “reason” to launch.”

“Did you hear this? They are saying if we are going to squeeze them out of the world who cares if there is one. That’s not good”

“It is horrendous we are all talking this way….but yet here we are.”

“ITS GETTING REAL”

“Instead of that, we should end this war by not putting Ukraine in NATO. Issue resolved.”

“Joe Biden responds to Russia while on vaca for the weekend “we have submarines also, would you like ham and cheese or Italian?””

“Insanity. Stay the hell out. It’s not our fight and hasn’t been since 1991. Let the big talkers in Brussels fight if they desire. Russia has said for 25 years do not expand NATO towards their border with its war guarantee for each member.”

“So why is the United States egging him on. I’m sorry but I just don’t get that. Ukraine and Russia want to talk and the US isn’t having it. Are they trying to back Putin into a corner?”

“I haven’t heard any assurances from Biden or anyone that our nukes and defenses are up to code! I haven’t seen any pictures showing American readiness! When was the last time anything was tested? 1990???? Judgement day is coming.”

“Is this what Build Back Better means? Yikes”

“They’re saying if we can’t be be a part of the world then we’ll end the world.”

The rhetoric from Biden and his team of insane Millennials needs to stop.

There is no good reason to be poking a mad man over a fight that has nothing to do with us.

This is exactly what Tulsi Gabbard was talking about when she said Biden could very easily “accidentally” land us in a nuclear war.

The question becomes: Does Russia want to commit suicide over Ukraine?

Except Biden did NOT order our military to protect Ukraine.

So then.

This is not the NATO of Eisenhower and Churchill, so to speak, and we cannot be sure what thoughts really occupy the leaders of nations today. The military commanders of NATO are probably much the same as always, but they will be under the direction of these leaders of dubious sanity or mental clarity. Putin meanwhile seems to have slipped into an even worse space than our leaders.

We also cannot be very sure of the response of Russian military commanders if given startling orders from Putin.

There might be an inclination to try to find out if the man could be removed from office at any moment, and hold off on following those orders.

This is a very dark place we are heading, in part because we cannot be sure that our own leaders really want to avoid a nuclear war. Perhaps some of them view themselves as most likely survivors with the unlimited power that might bring in a post-nuclear age. Perhaps others just think Putin must be bluffing therefore we could go right to the brink without consequences. Putin gives me every indication that he is not a bluffer, although he might be a liar.

No; it is Vladimir Putin threatening the world, like a madman, with nuclear war.

If you saw someone poking a bear with a stick would you tell that fool to stop?

Neocons and socialist Democrats have been poking the bear since 1991.

President Reagan had almost killed the bear and sent him back home to his home, but then in spite of all agreements to leave the bear alone, we kept encroaching on the bear's own territory and now we dersive what we have created.   This needs to end now or there will be a horrible end for us all.

Biden has never done anything right or noble or worthwhile in 77 years. He’s the biggest failure in all of creation.

You are right not to trust the Guardian. You are wrong in your understanding of Russia as they are. Perhaps you should educate yourself about Russia from different sources. Unfortunately, people in power in our country use the same sources for information that is not correct. This, lead to the unwise decisions that will continue to occur and your support evidently.

“ It is Russia’s choice to go to war. Period.”

Sure it is after we expand NATO right up to their front door and engineer a revolution to take over their immediate neighbor.

From the headline it may just be their choice to end it - in their own way. Problem is it takes you and me and lots of others out with that choice!

Smart thinking, there.

so let Russia take all the countries it wants

..or let the people in those countries fight and die for their freedom.

American Taxpayers paid our military to act as a buffer for close to 70 years. Instead of maintaining a strong military they spent their money on social programs (and 30 days a year vacation along with “free” healthcare).

It is not our circus and not our monkey.

Bit tired of conservative Putin Butt Kissers.

Bingo!

My suggested political response (post on another thread earlier)

**
"Vladimir:
We are aware you have placed your nuclear forces at top alert. As you well know, the U.S. and much of the rest of the world are already on full alert and have been for years. If you use a first nuclear strike, a flash message to our many nuclear submarines will result in the immediate vaporization of your military, every major Russian city and every bunker that might provide for your personal safety.

You and Russia will never be honored during the little of what will remain of life on this earth, or in any aferlife.

There are other, peaceful ways we can resolve our current disagreement."
**

IMO, if such response was published worldwide and especially in Russia, he would be assassinated within days, if not hours.

What bear's own territory was threaten by invasion by the US since the West help save it from Germany?

Neocons and socialist Democrats have been poking the bear since 1991.

We missed an opportunity with Russia in the '90s. We did not handle the fall of the Soviet Union well. Reagan and Bush 41 did their part in beating the Evil Empire. Bill Clinton was the President and he had humiliated Boris Yeltsin, a drunk. And we intervened in the Balkans. That was not necessary. At the end of Clinton's presidency, Putin became President and it was too late.
