You want the truth?
Here it is..
NATO stands for north Atlantic treaty organization....
Please tell me where Ukraine is considered north, and where it borders the Atlantic?
The snooty snobs of Europe were told, in no uncertain terms, what would happen if NATO tried to bring in Ukraine. The snooty snobs did it anyway. And what they were told would happen, is happening.
And, as President Trump pointed out, they are not fulfilling their obligations under the treaty. They won’t even pony up for their own defense. The snooty snobs generals sit on their collective asses, with their feet on their desks, and yell for America to help them out.
Well, they are in violation of the contract. That renders the contract null and void.
Screw em.
The snooty snobs started this.
Let them finish it.
Not one drop of American blood.
Not one dollar of American treasure.

“If you have an hour to kill, this lecture by Professor John Mearsheimer is more timely today than it was in 2015.”

That lecture is worth every second! Mearsheimer lays this war at the feet of our bungling — just as it should be!

The lecture is from 2015 and it is like Mearsheimer has a crystal ball that is second to none!

Not surprised Ukrainian Socialist Leftists got the impression that America can be Bribed to commit any Sin.

The question is, was the Ukrainian evaluation of America correct?

“Nonsense.”

You apparently did not read the story. Either that or you work for the deep state.

“Some people don’t realize how far back the conflict goes, don’t know anything about the Minsk accords (violated or ignored by both sides but particularly by the Ukrainians with “the arrival of Zelensky), and don’t know the extent of the Biden family’s connections….with both sides.”

There have been a lot of bad Americans in high places doing bad things around the world in our name.

I can see that they and we have embraced the same evil here that our recent ancestors fought against over there.

Had to happen sooner or later, I suppose. We became too proud of ourselves and too arrogant in our peaceful prosperity and thus we forgot where and from Whom our strength and prosperity comes from.

And so now, in far too many ways, we are more similar to the evil our ancestors fought against than to our ancestors who overcame it.

Somebody wake up the bus driver! We’re riding on the rumble strips now and there is no guard rail.

I wish people wouldn’t post propaganda written by Putin to justify his offensive in Ukraine.

“Nonsense. The core thing to remember is that Ukraine had a neutrality agreement with Russia. They signed it when they gave up nukes in 1991.”

That agreement was that Ukraine would be neutral, non-aligned. One, that nation ended with a CIA/State department coup. Russia has no treaties with that new nation. Two, even if you stand on that agreement of 1994 (not 1991) that agreement included Ukraine being neutral.

The coup and deep alignment with NATO abrogated that agreement. And I for one am very happy the Nazi Azov battalion has no nukes.

“We deserve to know the truth. But all we get is propaganda.”

Amen, brother! Depending on how this war works out we may just find out the truth. One way we win — the other we lose.

You seem to misunderstand that the Minsk protocols demand that all foreign military must leave Ukraine.

That means the Russians. It’s Russia who have deleted Minsk.

This above writer is a complete moron. This invasion was about the increasingly unhinged Putin to control Ukraine as part of the old Soviet Empire.

The war and the invasion are all on Putin.

I can absolutely rip apart the background of any college professor, or hack politician that lectures on any topic you can think of. Feel free to try my theory yourself by posting something, or better yet, listen to the lecture and then argue about it intelligently.

Everywhere this clown uses the word America’s in this article, substitute the word Biden's. You'll find the article much more truthful that way.

Well said...actually, he’s more like a drunk driver than a sleepy driver. He really thinks running over the edge would be a great way to get where he’s going.

“NATO stands for north Atlantic treaty organization. Please tell me where Ukraine is considered north, and where it borders the Atlantic?”

So you think NATO exists only to defend Iceland?

This is a brilliant article and a must-read.

Bingo!.

Teasers from the article for those who might not wish to give it their time:

"By tying itself to an American administration that had shown itself to be reckless and dangerous, the Ukrainians made a geopolitical blunder that statesmen will study for years to come...

"In order to cover up for what the Bidens and perhaps other senior Obama officials had done in Ukraine, a Democratic Congress impeached Trump for trying to figure out what American policymakers had been doing in Ukraine over the past decade.

"From the perspective of the U.S. national security establishment, Biden’s victory over Trump signaled that its actions in Ukraine would stay hidden. So long as the media continued to bark that the 45th president of the United States is Putin’s stooge, no one would be held accountable for anything. "

Billions will be spent and end up in a few pockets (Hunter will make millions). In the end Ukraine will be the same—so too Russia. We were told WW II would be the last war—The UN would solve all our problems—are we falling for it again?
