I can see that they and we have embraced the same evil here that our recent ancestors fought against over there.
Had to happen sooner or later, I suppose. We became too proud of ourselves and too arrogant in our peaceful prosperity and thus we forgot where and from Whom our strength and prosperity comes from.
And so now, in far too many ways, we are more similar to the evil our ancestors fought against than to our ancestors who overcame it.

Well said...actually, he’s more like a drunk driver than a sleepy driver. He really thinks running over the edge would be a great way to get where he’s going.
