The Democrats will be buried at Kyiv
American Thinker.com ^ | February 26, 2022 | Stephen Kopits

The US continues to sit passively on the sidelines while the Russian army pounds Ukraine. It is all too pathetic.

Nevertheless, resident Biden has listed as a key priority the prevention of US military deaths in armed conflicts. In his August 16, 2021 speech at Arlington Cemetery, President Biden declared:

How many more generations of America’s daughters and sons would you have me send to fight Afghans — Afghanistan’s civil war when Afghan troops will not? How many more lives — American lives — is it worth? How many endless rows of headstones at Arlington National Cemetery?

With this speech, he laid out what may come to be known as the Biden Doctrine, that there would be no conflict so small that the US would not run away, no act of cowardice too craven, no desertion of allies too treacherous, and no commitment to democracy or global security worth securing with military force beyond those agreed on paper.

On that day, his net approval rating (approval minus disapproval) stood at +6.2%, entirely acceptable for a US president. Three months later, on election day in November, it would fall to -8% and the Democrats would take a historical shellacking at the polls. Virtually all the damage resulted from the means by which the US pulled out of Afghanistan, leaving chaos, the Taliban, and now famine in its wake. Americans were appalled.

And here we are again, with the stakes predictably amplified. Why has Russian President Putin chosen now to invade Ukraine? The answer is simple: The Biden Doctrine of unilateral surrender. What does US military power matter if we lack the will to use it or cower before those who threaten us?

The punditry needs to stop ignoring the out right theft in our elections.

We are here because of theft. The polls from the Ministries of Truth mean nothing. We are solidly in Stain territory, only matters who counts the votes.

Oh yeah, sure.

We just have to bomb Serbia and Iraq, arm shady groups in Syria that McCain liked and approved of, do drone warfare in Yemen for the Saudis, bomb Libya, etc, etc.

And we’ve just git to get entangked in this as well.

No thanks.

There is nothing we should or could do for the Ukraine, it’s TOO LATE. If we didn’t have a bunch of Rat and RINO traitors who allowed a stolen election to stand, this crap with Putin wouldn’t be going on today nor would the United states be in the midst of a foreign invasion as well. Let EUROPE deal with the Ukraine, right now our troops should be repelling the invaders at OUR border not the Ukraines.

Who is “us?”

I never trusted American Thinker once they closed their reader comments section. Now I just see them as another establishment/globalist propaganda outlet — probably with some big GOP benefactor pouring money into it.

Ukraine is irrelevant, what happens after Ukraine should be of concern not to mention what China will do with Taiwan.

Biden and the left are beyond weak. They’re useless lemmings incapable doing anything requiring logic or common sense.

The American people are overwhelmingly opposed to US military intervention in Ukraine. We have no vital national interest there. We have no desire to see our people wounded and killed in a conflict that is not ours. Also, fighting a war against a nuclear armed state is extremely dangerous and something that should be avoided if at all possible.

But hey, if YOU feel that strongly about it, by all means pick up a rifle and head to Ukraine. I won’t lift a finger to stop you.

A friend’s son joined the military less than a year ago. He recently shared he was preparing to deploy to Ukraine.

“The US continues to sit passively on the sidelines while the Russian army pounds Ukraine. It is all too pathetic.”

President Clinton got Ukraine to give its nuclear arsenal in 1994. Under the agreement the United States would provide security assurances to Ukraine.

In 2014 Ukraine ask for weapons to defend itself against Russia, Obama-Biden administration refused.

In Dec 2017 the new Trump administration announced the US would send lethal aid to Ukraine and the $47 million of Javelin antitank missiles.

May 2018: Ukraine received the Javelin missiles and much more military support (training, advisors, etc).

Real Military aid was not provided to Ukraine until President Trump took office. Obama administration was worried about Russia to provide direct support to Ukraine. Maybe, Biden wanted more kick back money from Ukraine.

Really. Ukraine is not in NATO and none of this would have had to happen if the US and Russia would get the hell out of Ukraine.

It was quiet there during Trump because he wasn’t purposely provoking Putin. Putin knew Trump was a nationalist and wasn’t using Ukraine as the Dems and RINOs do. The minute Biden gets in the trouble begins because the dems and RINOs use Ukraine as their playground and constantly poke the Russian bear. Russia is their “go to” excuse for their own bad actions.

\Typical RAT behavior. Accuse others of what you are really doing.

“There is nothing we should or could do for the Ukraine, it’s TOO LATE.”

Nothing can be done about Ukraine. To do something would require all of Europe to unite, that is not going to happen. Germany, Italy, and others are too dependent on Russia to make a stand.

If Ukraine gets completely defeated:
What will China do as in Taiwan?
Will Russian continue its expansion like Hittler did?

The Cold War is back, China has been adding to its nuclear capability. China has added a large amount of missile silos to their inventory. Who knows what Russia has developed.

The best solution for the US until the rest of the world get their act together, is to clean our own house.

Secure our borders
Rebuild our military
Rebuild our Nuclear Forces
Start producing our own energy supplies
Bring back critical manufacturing to USA

I’m just wondering if the reason that Biden is SO worried about this invasion is... isn’t Ukraine the place that helped Hillary with her Russian hoax AND the country that helped Biden (Hunter) become so rich? I’m wondering if Biden is worried what Putin could get hold of if he takes over the country and possibly release about what went on in DC for the last several years that would implicate Zero, Hillary and Biden?
