Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy turned down an offer from the United States to evacuate Kyiv, the capital city, the Associated Press reported late Friday.

AP reporter James La Porta said Ukraine’s president decided to stay in Kyiv and fight alongside his fellow countrymen.

“The fight is here’ I need ammunition, not a ride,” the president reportedly told American officials.

Zelenskyy has been spotted around the city wearing body armor and a helmet.

God bless this man has he demonstrates true character and courage in the face of death.

So much respect for @ZelenskyyUa. Praying for you, sir, and may God bless you.

Beat me to this topic by a few moments.

War does unexpected things to people. Zelensky was unpopular and not taken seriously a week ago.

But if he is killed tomorrow he will now be remembered as one of Ukraine’s greatest heroes.

Churchill too was thought of as something of a joke and a dilettante before he proved himself in the last European war.

Wow, a leader with manhood.

I don’t know much about his policies and positions, but sure can admire a man who knows how to man.

My understanding is that their Congress was very fractured but he has won over his opponents in the last few days.
The country needs faith and inspiration and he appears to be the man they need at this moment.

Think of Yeltsin on top of the tank during the attempted coup in 1991.

It would be the best-case scenario, have some sensible generals running things for awhile.

Biden leaves Unkraine unarmed. When the fighting starts Biden offers to save Zelensky.

Was this Biden's plan to get rid of Zelensky and perhaps all the dirt Zelensky has on the Biden crime syndicate? You know, tying up loose ends.

Zelensky can die on his feet fighting or die in a plane shot down by "Russian forces".

Wholy Shite!

What an epic quote. That one will live on for a LONG time.

Only thing that could be better is to see him carrying a battle rifle in addition to his plate carrier.

This little guy has more courage and balls in his big toe than there is in the entirety of all of Bone Spur, (who would flee a fight disguised as a woman)… And I know it to my core.

viz. a coup against Putin.

If Putin goes, there is no real successor. The head of the armed forces is a Tuvan (Mongol) and will not have support among ethnic Russians, I think. And he’s not the designated successor, so not groomed for the cameras.

I think if Putin goes, then we have a Russian civil war redux...

There was one man I thought would have been the right leader for Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and that was Aleksander Lebed, who suspiciously died in a helicopter crash, some think Putin had something to do with it.

He was a smart man, not a western Flunky, like Yelstin turned out to be, but much more pragmatic than Putin turned out to be.

An accidental leader but—a needed one. He is proving that non=professional politicians can do a good job. He have had some great ones in the past—like Trump—Washington, Ike.
