TULSA – Last Tuesday, a local high school student reported that she used a vape pen at school and began feeling disoriented. She left the school and decided to walk home. The victim reported that a SUV pulled up next to her, and the driver, later identified as Chadwick Harris, told her she looked pretty and offered her a ride.
Instead of driving the victim home, the victim reported that Harris parked and sexually assaulted her in the vehicle, then took her home.
At the victim’s house, the victim says when Harris dropped her off, he followed her inside the home. The victim went to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and swung it at Harris. The victim said she wasn’t sure if she hit him, and said Harris kicked her in the stomach and left.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and we were notified of the incident.

The story is a bit odd. After he allegedly raped the young woman, he drove her home and then followed her into her house?
Probably to either rape her again or kill her.
Or both.
She was foolish to take a ride from a stranger.
Yes. She said she felt “disorientated” after smoking her vape pen. No word on what she was smoking. Then she jumps in this guy’s van because he said she was ‘pretty.’ He rapes her then drives her home (pretty considerate of him there?).
On her side, he lied the police ... perhaps he thought she was underage so thought he had something to hide. Him saying he was stabbed by a stranger he picked up is true, did he tell the police the sex of the stranger who stabbed him? He pretty much convicted himself by flapping his gums.
Not necessary in that order.
It could be, in her disoriented state, that she thought she knew the person. It could have been the type of vehicle he was driving.
I see the suspect half of it, minimal data available on a minor victim, as usual and proper.

Is it the same stuff that pedos offer children?

“Vaping” is promoted as a “safe alternative” to smoking. And it’s ok for teens to “vape” as long as they stick with commercial candy-flavored vape products that (supposedly) contain no nicotine, THC, etc. (Like the first thing the kid is going to think of is NOT going to be what else besides peppermint-flavored goo s/he can put in there.)
Good grief, people are so stupid, they will believe anything.
Speaking of stupid, that gal needs supervision. I’m glad she made it out alive but I don’t have a lot of hope for her future...
