Andrew Breibart wrote that politics is downstream from culture. So what happened to American culture? We used to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. Now we are the land of Helicopter Parents, Trigger Warnings, and Snowflakes. Once upon a time America was barbarian and badass compared to Western Europe. We had football, guns, dangerous hillbillies, and a president who joked about bombing the Soviet Union. They had soccer, bicycles, coffee-swilling philosophers, and calls for Accommodation.
The image is reversing. We still have our guns, and our aging motorcycle gangs. But we also have our helicopter parents and social services departments ready to intervene at the first sign of free range parenting. Those cuddly European welfare states have bolder parenting practices than we do. And then there are the teenagers and college students who melt down in the presence of a funny joke or challenging idea.
And we’re turning gay. Really gay. The country is turning into San Francisco – even Trump supporting rural counties. Pride Month is becoming a bigger celebration than Christmas. Comics and children’s breakfast cereals are LBGTQPCWXYZ themed, and teenagers can choose to get a sex change before they are allowed a beer or a cigarette. Even the frogs are joining the transgender craze.
I’m a live and let live guy by nature. I dropped literature for gay Libertarian candidates back when the sodomy laws were still on the books. But this is getting ridiculous. All this pronoun nonsense, mandatory cake baking, and actively pushing sexual deviance on confused adolescents is making me really miss Jerry Falwell.
But is this titanic shift in our national character the result of propaganda? Did the Hollywood homosexuals pull off a hundred year indoctrination campaign of extraordinary magnitude?

I look to Gramschi and the long march. I think the communists pushed negro culture and homosexual culture. They have both been very destructive, as intended.

***And we were saying it was wrong then, we’re saying it is wrong now. This guy is starting to see that what we were saying was completely on target, what such behavior would lead to. We should be listening to the people who were RIGHT at the time rather than guys like him who were WRONG and might still be wrong.
And we’re turning gay. Really gay. The country is turning into San Francisco — even Trump supporting rural counties. Pride Month is becoming a bigger celebration than Christmas …Looks like someone doesn’t ever visit so-called “Trump supporting rural counties”.
Way before the pandemic, many people experienced first-hand the destructive impact of chemicals, fertilizers, GMOs, and soy on not just children but adults. When I was a kid, at Scout camp we had PBJ and white bread for all meals and NOBODY had an anaphylactic reaction OR gluten reaction. Today, I've seen first-hand how nuts can kill, food leads to brain fog, and an avalanche of kids on the spectrum.
I'm all for the free market and big business is preferable to state control of the economy. But SOMETHING went wrong in the food supply, and while the data on a autism-vaccine link isn't as strong as I'd like it, the statuatory shield over pharmaceutical firms didn't just happen for no good reason.
In homeschooling circles, I've seen liberal/hippie-like crunchy granola types working alongside lifetime NRA member Christians, eating organic and nut-free, gluten free food. They go to farmers to get meat and produce. They don't agree on gun control or abortion, but they will fight to the death for their kids.
THAT is the spirit that we need in greater proportions.
I live in a Trump supporting, food growing rural county and we do indeed have a Gay Mafia in the educational system. It’s why I homeschooled.
The internet is the main driver of filth into every nook and cranny of the world.
How did they get in there? Centralization of the education system and appointment from the adjacent urban area?
America had resources and drive. Communism had oppression. They realized they could not compete. They attacked from within. Democrats embraced the destruction. Republicans caved.
That the nation with the fattest, most passively entertained and comfortable people in all of history is also morally bankrupt and brimming with sexual neurosis really isn’t too shocking. It seems to simply be following human nature and history.

It’s the Gen. Ripper- Dr. Strangelove theory of the estrogenization of culture and politics.
Too easy - besides it would help the bad guys.
Gen. Ripper was right.
I’m in a Trump supporting rural county. No Pride Month celebrations, thankfully. But some of the creatures checking out the groceries these days...
the biggest killer in the country is sugar.
there is a trillion dollars spent annually on sugar related healthcare. Alcohol causes only about 250 billion in health care related expenses.
Killer, perhaps so. But is it turning this county into snowflakes and gurly-mans?
Our sugar problem is older than the Constitution. Slaves were brought west originally to grow sugar cane in the Caribbean. George Washington had false teeth. Soft drinks go back over a century.
Something new has happened in the past half century.
Yep and it’s mostly hairy legged granola lesbians rather than gay men who go rural because they want to have a little acreage for their pet collection or to grow their own “organic” food.
And they always finance it with their “government” job, because that’s the only way they can make a living out here.
The local lesbian Methodist minister had a wedding ceremony to marry herself! That’s the other source of nutbags, the mainline protestant churches which are no longer self supporting out here, yet remain open somehow, no doubt through the largesse of the urban liberals.
