It is an emergency that was completely avoidable yet clueless Justin Trudeau poured gasoline on the fire and cornered himself into invoking the Emergencies Act. It was like the guy who set his car on fire in order to kill a spider played out on a national scale in Canada.

Actually, I think that the EA is solely for Ottowa, a peaceful protest.
They already showed that they could clear road blockages with the powers they had.
The police in Ottowa told Trudeau that they could not “make these peasants go away”, so he needs the RCMP.

Application of the Emergencies Act would end the emergency by arresting Trudeau for the same crime the truckers are accused of, belligerence.

Trudeau says the truckers are a threat to democracy so he declares martial law and makes himself dictator.
Seriously, he’s also been cited as talking about proroguing parliament for the duration of the ‘emergency’. Which would prevent parliament from taking action to remove Castro Jr. from office.
Canada is no longer a free nation. It is a dictatorship.
