Durham makes allegations that make Watergate look like small potatoes

On Friday, Special Counsel John Durham filed with the D.C. Federal District Court a what should have been a boring conflict of interest motion, but it hid a surprise: The Clinton campaign, through Perkins Coie, spied on Trump both before and after he was president. The following is an plain English-language summary of relevant parts of the motion:

Michael Sussman was a partner at Law Firm-1 (i.e., Perkins Coie). He met with the FBI General Counsel (i.e., James Baker), and offered data and “white papers” purporting to show that Trump was communicating covertly with a Russia-based bank (i.e., Alfa-Bank). Mueller, incidentally, had to admit this was untrue.

Durham indicted Sussman because he allegedly told Baker that he was not divulging this information for a client. In fact, he was acting for at least two clients: the Clinton campaign and “Tech Executive-1” (i.e., Rodney Joffe), who worked at a “U.S.-based internet company” (i.e., Neustar Inc., a federal contractor).

As part of his work on the Clinton campaign, Sussman repeatedly met and communicated both with Joffe and with “another law partner” who was “Campaign Lawyer-1.” (I guess we can await that indictment soon....)

Beginning in July 2016, Joffe began to work with (1) Sussman, (2) an investigation firm that Perkins Coie hired for the Clinton campaign, (3) cyber researchers, and (4) “employees at multiple Internet companies” to assemble the data handed to James Baker. To do so, Joffe exploited access to private and/or proprietary internet data.

Both Sundance and Widburg think Durham is just an extension of the cover-up.

Would that we had honesty and justice in this country, but we are so corrupt it must be assumed Durham is part of the corruption.

Wait a minute. I thought Durham was supposed to be covering up all of this corruption, remember he’s totally a deep state actor as so many of the self proclaimed genuises here claim. Yet exposing the massive corruption just doesnt seem like a cover up by Durham.

Question: If Durham was trying to cover up all the crimes committed by the hillary people, the FBI, the DOJ etc...etc... why would he publicly expose those very crimes? You people need to start thinking rather than emoting. Then again it is clear that the propaganda/information war being waged against the American people has worked on you people. Your reaction that everybody is totally corrupt including Durham is exactly the reaction the propaganda is designed to invoke. Propaganda is designed to affect the weak minded, the stupid and the emotional people in its target audience, and it’s worked on most you who hate Durham who seems to be the only one whom is not corrupt, which I would say, exposing the crimes, which he just did, is proof he’s not covering them up, but some of you sociopaths cannot admit you’ve made a mistake and that the propaganda gets to you so you end up acting the way the propagandists want you to and you’re then one of the lemmings, one of the useful idiots that Lenin described, doing the bidding of your enemies.

No, you missed his pleading in court yesterday where he laid out at least some of the crimes, that if he’s proceeding like he usually does, are just the tip of the iceberg and likely it is going to be used to get more cooperation from the Sussman’s in this drama as they find out the totality of what Durham has uncovered, and remember he’s still ferreting out evidence that various government actors are still trying to hide. Yesterdays pleading made it very clear though that Durham is going for the jugular.

Ah, no. No. I’m not ‘’you people’’ whom ever that might be.

As an American and a tax payer I want answer’s to what was clearly a muddled election to say the least and one that smacks of a major criminal conspiracy.

After almost seven years I’d like an answer from those whose job it is to find those answers.

Good article, until the lame conclusion that the whole thing was pointless and “part of the coverup.”

To Andrea Widburg, who is usually better than this: No, it’s not another cover-up. There is no way, now that this information has been made public, that it can be ignored.

Do you think Trump is just going to shrug and drop the subject? Do you think the many Republicans (including some of Trump’s aides and family members) who have been smeared and affected by this are simply going to move on?

It is going to be very difficult to get the attention that results in indictments and trials, since many of the guilty parties are still in controlling positions, but it will happen.

The important thing is that we - that is, anybody from FReepers to journalists to conservative organizations to Congress - not just do the usual by shrugging it off and saying nothing is going to happen, what’s the use, it’s all for show, there’s no point, etc.

I’ve already seen entire threads taken over by the usual crowd of folks trying to tell an army that the battle is already lost and they don’t need to bother fighting. I swear, I think half of these people are Dem plants.

Fight for justice, don’t shrug and crawl off.

Anyone else wondering...

A) If Deep State has been around a whole lot longer than we thought...

and

B) If Deep State used Watergate to get rid of Tricky Dicky.

Until there are indictments and arrests of some big fish then it’s all moot.

Um, you just called fellow Freepers “sociopaths.” That reeks of the very emoting you claim to condemn.

He is providing answers. What you want is instant gratification and you’re not getting it so you stomp your feet and cry that Durham is covering everything up, you’re one of those people is what I was referring to. The emotional people who just throw their hands up in the air and surrender because they’re not getting the results they want on the time table you want. Durham has his own time table and as he gathers and analyzes the evidence when he has enough to prove a particular crime he lets us know through the indictments that are generated or the pleadings like he released yesterday.

If you and the others, meaning the emotional crybabies, would take the time to read all the court documents Durham has released in the form of indictments and other pleadings, and then read the analysis of them by people who know far more about the law than any of us, you would be surprised at how much Durham is now able to prove. And the word out there is that Sussman, whom is now aware of what Durham knows and can prove has found he is in considerably more legal hot water than what he thought and is now a cooperating witness as are likely others.

Also, if you’d been paying attention, the original Sussman indictment was filed to provide a freezing of the statute of limitations for any crimes associated with the overall conspiracy, so we do not have to worry about any statute of limitations, Durham is free to continue uncovering new evidence and indicting anyone involved and to be honest, as what Durham has exposed is being called just the tip of the iceberg, he can continue at his present pace until after the 2025 inauguration, at a time when we have a new AG whom is not corrupt and will not hide Durham’s findings. I care not how long it takes him, in the end I just want Durham to build as many air tight cases against everybody he can prove crimes against. One must remember, the very info he needs is the very info the criminals are trying to hide so it may take a few more years to uncover it all, if its even possible to uncover everything.

My entire point is this, when we sit here and disparage Durham and his investigation everytime he announces something positive it has the effect of demoralizing our side and that is something we do not need because it is doing our enemies work, it is what their propaganda is designed to do.

What you and the others are really upset about is that you’re not getting the instant gratification you want so y’all whine and try to sound enlightened by claiming everybody is corrupt, and that is exactly what the progressive communist democrats want you people to do because that is tantamount to surrender.

Stop acting emotionally like little crybabies and start logically analyzing Durham’s info and start understanding reality, these kinds of investigations take a lot of time, hence Durham’s actions to freeze of the statute of limitations, that doesn’t sound like a prosecutor who is trying to cover up, after all he could have just let the statute of limitations pass and then say “sorry, didnt have enough evidence to indict before the Statute of Limitations ran out”, that is how a corrupt prosecutor who wanted to hide a conspiracy and crimes would behave, but that’s not what Durham did. Why?

If as they claim, the battle is lost, one wonders why they bother to post that one 100% of the Durham threads. If it doesn’t matter then why do they work so hard at it like they are getting paid?
