Many people on the left want to teach critical race theory in schools.
Many people on the right want to ban the teaching of the subject in schools.
I propose that we teach critical race theory in schools, with the three following guidelines:
First, it should be age appropriate. High school, yes. Kindergarten, no.
Second, it should be taught under the proper context. Social studies class, yes. Math class, no.
And third, we should give equal time to teach the opposing point of view from black conservatives such as Winsome Sears, Candace Owens, Thomas Sowell, Brandom Tatum, Star Parker, Walter E. Williams, Mia Love, Larry Elder, Josephine Mathias, Deroy Murdock, Herman Cain, and Ben Carson.
The author should be asked if it would be acceptable to give equal time to teaching 2+2=5?
Why give CRT any time?
What value would that have?
There isn’t time to teach factually wrong communist trash. Teach them right, ban the trash.
History is important so we don’t repeat our mistakes. I don’t mind abuses, racism, and mistakes being told or else how are we going to learn from them? We as a nation did terrible things, especially our intelligence services and our abusive government.
However, the bad must be countered with the overwhelming good. We are the best nation that has ever been formed in the history of the world and these truths must be told too. We saved the world.
However, we are far from perfect. Heck, in the last five years we had an intelligence service coup attempt against a sitting president and a massively fraudulent vote. The voters did not decide the last election.
and is that short list going to cover the whole country? There's not enough black conservatives that would have the courage because you know they'd be attacked by other blacks and white leftists.
You don’t teach communism in order to teach capitalism.
Pfft. This is a stupid premise. This all assumes that an actual dialogue would go on between any Leftist and the likes of Thomas Sowell.
They would go along with that to simply continue teaching CRT. Reasoning with the Left is not possible. They are operating on emotion, not rationality.
As far as I am concerned, the Left can blather in their bubbles all they want about CRT. It is toxic racism which has no place where young, impressionable learning children are.
And there's the catch.
In other words, Teachers would be free to teach CRT, and Teachers would present those black patriot's opposing POV. Both sides, both Right and Wrong, would be presented by teachers.
Ummmm.... NO.
Equal time sounds great, except that when the left has power they shut down anything they don’t like. We need to do the same: anything we disagree with should be considered hate speech or misinformation.
CRT should be an after school “club” activity, strictly voluntary with parents permission. We would instantly see just how interested families and “teachers” are in joining and taking the extra time to support this THEORY.
Hell NO..! Next question.....

There still is one problem with people on our side.
THEY DON’T WANT TO DEBATE. THEY DO NOT WANT TO DISCUSS. THEY WANT TO HAVE ONLY THEIR OPINION AS BEING RIGHT AND THEY LAUGH AT ANYONE WHO OFFERS ANY TYPE OF SOLUTION TO THE TURMOIL THEY CAUSE.
PLEASE PEOPLE ON THE RIGHT. QUIT THINKING THEY WILL ALLOW WHAT YOU THINK TO BE HEARD.

CRT has nothing to do with blacks. Why do you privilege blacks for teaching white children about the history of their country?
We don’t give racism a voice in our schools! Crt is racism!
How about,we just teach the basics like we used to? Is that so much to ask? TEACH kids and STOP indoctrinating them!
“Equal time” NEVER works. The late great Rush Limbaugh used to say, “I AM equal time!” Meaning, everything else on the radio was commie propaganda. And while we have more conservative voices now, he is still right, and that applies to the schools, too. It’s all commie propaganda now, even in “math” and “science” classes.
Just teach history without any political interpretation: names, dates and events. Keep all politics out of the classroom.
