In an almost surreal way, writing about COVID-19 as a political commentator has become almost second nature. Two years ago, I would have laughed at the idea that we’d still be covering the virus, but here we are, still having it be part of our daily conversation.
That’s not by choice, of course. Instead, it’s because our leaders have insisted on tying the two areas of health and politics together so tightly. When a pandemic is constantly used to crush liberties and hand power to people with tyrannical leanings, that’s not a story that can be ignored.
In all the disinformation and obfuscation of the last several years from the government, though, no issue has been more abused than natural immunity. We’ve known since the beginning months of the pandemic that those who are previously infected gain lasting, durable immunity from the virus. Yet, the CDC, two presidential administrations, and the mainstream media have all steadfastly refused to acknowledge that reality.
Finally, that has changed.
Finally honesty by the CDC via The NY Times:
“Unvaccinated people with a history of Covid also had lower rates of infection and hospitalization than those protected by vaccines alone.
The data are consistent with trends observed in international studies, the researchers said.”

You don’t say? Welcome to the party the rest of us have been hosting for a year-and-a-half.
Some of us have been writing on natural immunity since the summer of 2020. We’ve charged ahead, amidst an onslaught of false “fact-checks” to present the data that clearly shows that those with a prior COVID infection are protected and likely don’t need to get vaccinated. In that time, we’ve been maligned as anti-science and called grandma killer, among other choice descriptors. Even after multiple studies emerged over the last year proving natural immunity was real and viable, the government and its media allies still pretended it didn’t exist.
And in the off chance you did get a member of those groups to admit the obvious, they’d usually respond with a non sequitur like “oh, so you are suggesting people purposely get COVID?” But no one was ever suggesting that. Rather, we were just pointing out that tens of millions of people had gotten COVID, not by choice, many before the vaccines even came out, and that to ignore their natural immunity is anti-science.
Still, as shocking and late as this admission is, it means nothing if the CDC doesn’t change its guidelines. Will they now include natural immunity in their push for things like “vaccine passports”? Or will they continue down the same, absolutist road where if you aren’t triple-vaxxed, you lose your rights? I think we can speculate with some confidence exactly how things will turn out. There will be no change in policy because the Biden administration will never let that happen. To do so would be to admit they’ve been wrong all along, and they can’t have that.
Every institution is corrupt write large.
The entire edifice is a criminal enterprise made to steal the liberty and freedoms of the people.
Instead, we are dealing with full blown test trials on the entire population of this country (minus those they haven't coerced into getting vaccinated, yet). Mistakes made here aren't so easy to fix as would be during a legitimate FDA approval process. In fact, the temptation is high to just double/triple down and HIDE it and blame something else.
Emergency Use Authorization is one thing. It lets the potential participant know the risks involved. Full blown FDA Approval is another and here is where the double/triple down comes in. I believe something very criminal happened here and all these government vax-cult goons are trying to stay out of prison. JMO.
Now that the CDC is finally starting to tell the truth the MSM attack on the CDC will continue. It’s already begun.
It will all come crashing down soon.

A shift is now beginning to take place in the narrative. The Democrats are finally starting to realize that trying to keep the public scared all the time over a pathogen that is now less deadly than the flu is futile and not helping their popularity. Time to shift the blame for the failed vaccines to President Trump and begin distancing themselves.
I had Covid in 2020 severe enough to be hospitalized. Long hauler lung scarring is my daily reality.

Natural immunity is a beautiful thing.
Your posts are usually more reasoned than that. At the height of the wave that was used to develop the vaxes, the chances of actually contracting covid were less than 0.1%.
My wife and I haven’t been vaxed, and we have been all ovet the place, like you, since Jan 2020. Never infected, a fact that is meaningless in discussion of vaccination or no.
How about being unjabbed and never getting terribly ill? Been unmasked and hanging with whomever. Worst I had was a two day headache and some fatigue. That was it.
Totally worth it to *know* I haven’t injected myself with something that is injuring people worldwide.

I have a hydrolase-21 deficiency. With clotting being a major potential side effect, it was too risky for me.
Just got through my second round of COVID-19 in two years. Had it early in 2020 and again this month. It was not nearly as bad as the first round, which messed up my lungs and landed me in the hospital twice. I’m almost in the clear!
Never take the jab, and never get covid, or at least no symptoms, like millions…

in Australia, and in many parts of Europe, it is not only the right who join the protests. everyone needs to come together if we are to end this tyranny.
I think your personal anecdote proves all the peer-reviewed studies to be wrong. You should write these researchers and explain.

You might have noticed that he didn't push the vaccines at his recent Arizona rally. This was a change for him after claiming that rushing the vaccines through the process was his proudest accomplishment. Either Steve Bannon finally spelled it out for him or he started looking closer at non-MSM sources about the vaccines. I am sure that he has a plan.
