So what is better..
To suffer through covid sickness or
Get the jabs like me, and never get covid,
After 1000 visits to stores+restaurants+gym
Since covid arrived ?
Even did 3 cruises without catching covid.
Your posts are usually more reasoned than that. At the height of the wave that was used to develop the vaxes, the chances of actually contracting covid were less than 0.1%.
My wife and I haven’t been vaxed, and we have been all ovet the place, like you, since Jan 2020. Never infected, a fact that is meaningless in discussion of vaccination or no.
How about being unjabbed and never getting terribly ill? Been unmasked and hanging with whomever. Worst I had was a two day headache and some fatigue. That was it.
Totally worth it to *know* I haven’t injected myself with something that is injuring people worldwide.
I’m glad the vax worked for you.
I have a hydrolase-21 deficiency. With clotting being a major potential side effect, it was too risky for me.
Just got through my second round of COVID-19 in two years. Had it early in 2020 and again this month. It was not nearly as bad as the first round, which messed up my lungs and landed me in the hospital twice. I’m almost in the clear!
Never take the jab, and never get covid, or at least no symptoms, like millions…
I think your personal anecdote proves all the peer-reviewed studies to be wrong. You should write these researchers and explain.
How about leaving that health decision - and all such health decisions - to the individual? Or are you one of those people who thinks that the State (backed by unaccountable bureaucrats) is more competent to make life-changing decisions for the entire populace?
Regards,
Did all that unvaxxed.
I just went on the cruises before the pandemic. Flew in at least a dozen times during the pandemic and just caught omicron.
Woop-tee ding dong it was a nothing burger for me. Slept for 11 hours took over the counter meds and wa-La I’m still here. I’m in my late 50’s, I have some immunity now, and I didn’t take a vaccine that has an Emergency Use Authorization that skipped 2 stages of testing that all other vaccines have had. And I don’t have to worry for the rest of my life what those EUA vaxxes contained (that the FDA doesn’t want to make public for the next 75 years).
I honestly hope you remain in good health for the rest of yours. I was FREE to make my choice based on my health and you were FREE to make yours.
End of story.
Freeregards.
“Get the jabs like me, and never get covid”
The point is there seems to be NO CORRELATION between getting shots and catching COVID. My wife and I have it now after 2+ years of no issues (and no masks except when travelling by plane). I’ve felt worse, as has she...and yes, we are both vaccinated!
The simple truth is that Omicron is FAR more contagious (one of our grandkids has now had COVID twice) and, thank God, not the CDC, it is also much less deadly.
How many have been vaccinated against the cold virus - a coronavirus? How many catch colds every year? (Hint: Adults average 2-4 colds/year, children more.)
We’re not going to defeat COVID. We will get used to it and it will finish off the very old and very sick for many years to come.

The answer may be subjective. Before I got the vaccine shots last April, I paid for a COVID-19 antibody test. It was negative but had it been positive I would not have taken the shots. I consider natural immunity to be the better and preferable. But YMMV, of course.
My entire life is lived in public. I work in public, dealing with people every day, touching everything they touch. On the weekends I play music, and I hug my friends who show up, and there’s crowds always. It’s often noisy, and I’m one of those guys that will put my arm around your shoulder and lean in so I can hear what you’re saying and have a conversation in the loud environment.
I am not vaccinated, and only got Covid because my grandson brought it home from school. We all got it, all got over it in a couple of days.
Now add to the equation the vaccine won’t stop the infection, and wouldn’t have prevented my house from getting it. Now add to the equation the possibilities of complications from the vaccine itself.
When all is said and done, I’ve had worse flu than than Covid which presents as a mild flu. I had a mild fever, and fatigue. We actually had fun with it, as everyone lost their sense of smell, and we laughed as we tried to determine if food smelled right!
I’ll take the flu over some experimental jab. That is my answer to your question.
If memory serves, you are 80 something years old...
Do what YOU think is best.
For the rest of us, LEAVE US ALONE!
By the way for me, had covid, nothing more than the sniffles. No way I am putting the clot shot into my body.
At this point with Omicron being the 98% prevalent variant and mild, for most people, it would be better to get Omicron and be done.
Your time will come with the constant inflammation caused by the 'spikes' clinging to every major organs, turning them into mush.
Your body may have to wait to be processed with the other CoVID 'jabbed' victims because you did such a great job decimating the ranks of the purebloods, there's too few people to bury you.
Or, get the fricking jab, like my wife did, and get the ‘rona ANYWAY! Very sick for weeks! Then lingering symptoms for MONTHS!
I meant to send my post 62 to entropy12.
Chaguito. Sorry about that.
