What is the highest "Roman numeral" or descendant name in use in the world today?
As a golf fan, I know of two men who use III in their surname (Davis Love and Notah Begay) but there's a senior golfer named David Morland who uses IV.
Guessing he isn't the answer to my question, anyone know of people with higher numerals in use? (no Pope examples thanks).

I don’t know of any NFL player with that name but I’m not very knowledgeable about the NFL. There was a famous baseball player (in the Hall of Fame) named Napoleon Lajoie.
Yes, it’s LARGELY a male characteristic. Not enough female monarchs to have several from one nation with the same name... no female popes (not even a Pope Joan*)... and women don’t normally name their eldest daughters after themselves.

Funny story... con-woman and pseudo-religious cultist Ellen Gould White, founder of the 7th Day Adventists, used to allege that the letters of the Pope’s title (”Vicar of the Son of God”, or “Vicarivs Filii Dei”) added up to 666. Problem is the Pope is the Vicar of Christ’s HUMAN personhood, so his title is “Vicar of the Son of Man”; Vicarius Filii Dei would be a heresy. Also, in Church Latin, you can’t just change a “u” to a “v.”
