Alabama football, ninjas, and karate have one thing in common, balance.
Balance is vital in everything. People who have a balanced life are those with more joy.
Football teams that balance on offense and defense win championships.
The Crimson Tide suffered a loss to Texas A&M in the 2021 regular season, but it is now in a place it knows well. Alabama is trying to repeat as champions tonight versus Georgia in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Tide has found different ways to win all year, and it stems from the “Crimson Crane” celebration with Jameson Williams and John Metchie. After each touchdown, the two celebrated together. Williams is happy to achieve balance in his new home, while Metchie was excited to share responsibilities with his teammate.

My PAC lousy 12 went 0-5 in bowl games. 😫
My son atte3nds UGA. Beat Alabamastan and the evil Satan.
Are they playing football or auditioning for a remake of The Karate Kid?
Is there a town in Georgia named Dacula? And if so, did they confuse the name with the person Dracula?
Not a Georgia fan, but ... Go Dawgs!
Yes.
I doubt it.
Dacula, GA 30019 - The town was originally named Hoke or Hokeville ( Truly “Hog Mountain”) but this was short-lived and the first Postmaster created the name Dacula from an odd combination of letters from Decatur and Atlanta.
I was betting on Covid. I had $20 on the Bearcats.
Look at the five bowl games on January 1. Every one of them was won by the team whose campus was further south than the other team's campus.
I grew up in Oregon, and remain nominally an Oregon State fan, but my “Pac-10 Loyalty” reaches only extends as far as Washington State and, to a much lesser extent, Washington.
The only college team that may be lower on my list than Oregon is Notre Dame (I’m professedly Catholic, unlike Notre Dame’s theology department). I have southern sympathies (though now located in Canada), and have been pulling for Alabama for about two decades, and generally think that the SEC should be allowed to supplant the NFL
I think that the top two non-SEC teams should play in a quarterfinal, with the winner to play the winner of the SEC title game in one semi-final, and the loser of the SEC title game to play the second place team from the other division in the other quarterfinal.
If Clemson and Notre Dame join the SEC, I’d be open to foregoing the quarterfinal, and simply awarding a semi-final berth to the big-10 champion.
I think both that the spread is about right and, with you, that it is going to be a great game.
“The Crimson Tide suffered a loss to Texas A&M in the 2021 regular season.”
WHOOOOP!
My Aggies could not play their bowl due to stupid Covid.
So how is Georgia a 2.5 point favorite?
going for the gonads like that on the sideline is CLEARLY unsportsdoglike conduct ...
This team has had an uphill climb. Now they have injuries to boot. Last year’s team was far more talented and focused. Win or lose, this has been a spectacular coaching job by St. Nick. Roll Tide, everybody.
Roll Tide!
Not watching, saw this one before, why watch again?
