So, after 2 years, and all that has gone on, I finally know someone directly who had passed from Covid.
Didn't know him well, a coworker, and a very nice man. Leaves behind a wife and a college aged daughter.
Over the last 2 years, I have known many people who have gotten sick, some severely but majority, a few days to a few weeks of feeling like crap and back to normal... Some have been hospitalized with severe cases, but all have recovered, though some have been facing very very long recoveries and are still not 100%.
I have before this, indirectly known of people who have passed, none directly, friends of friends, coworkers of friends, etc.
This is the very first person I know, that I can personally say I know this man, and he died of Covid.
I knew it was just a matter of time, before someone I knew would perish from this... law of averages and all. I fully expected it to happen long before now, honestly.
Anyway, this isn't meant to be a political post, just felt like sharing.
Both of my daughter-in-laws have just recovered from sore throat, achy bodies and both tested positive (one had Covid previously and received monoclonals). They had not been around each other. Both sons stayed locked up with them and tested negative, never came down with it. I don't know what to think anymore.
Early on I knew seven who died
Dr. Fauci transferred the “gain to function” research from the US when it was banned here to China and funded it.
WE ALL paid for the development of this chimera coronavirus, courtesy of Dr. Fauci.
I am sorry for the loss of your colleague. May God grant you comfort now and in the coming days. Thank you for posting this.
I just lost a long time buddy of mine going back to the 50’s from covid. He was a physician and Navy vet.
Someone, again, that I know is dying BECAUSE of THE JAB.
I’m 67. My parent’s generation all knew people who died young. We are so blessed that so few of our friends and relatives have died young. I think us boomers lived in a golden time where medicine was available and worked. Government has meddled so much and world events are such that the golden years are morphing into. If not lead, then brass.
“My first was in April, 2020, and a friend died last August from Delta….treated with government protocol.”
What’s that mean? Monoclonal Antibodies early, therapeutics, blood transfusion, or basically little early help and then slapped on a ventilator.
On topic, a co-worker died of COVID (no treatment, almost straight to ventilator). Hospital refused treatment and told him to go home and come back if feeling worse). And a 35 year old healthy friend was killed by the Vaccine (blood clouts, made the newspapers).
Frankly, as one gets to an advanced age, it is virtually impossible to not have one of the comorbidities. NOONE gets out of here alive. If Rona pushes them over the edge, IMO that IS the immediate cause of death. For example, if someone is shot and dies with other morbidities, do we say they died from say diabetes? NO, we say they died from the gunshot wound. Perhaps their heart gave out or their internal organs gave out but they died from the gunshot.
Our argument should be with the fiscal reward for citing CCP virus, not the actual cause of death. Lastly, we should be focused on how this thing came into being and exacting revenge.
I’ve had an ex wife and a childhood friend hospitalized with covid... my 27 year old daughter had it when she went into the hospital to give birth to my granddaughter... for her it was just sniffles. So far no one I know has died from it.. knock on wood...
100%. We say we believe in God, but we don’t believe Him.
The bottom line is that it isn’t a ‘pandemic’ (look in a dictionary) and never was.
We were lied to so that the left could break the global economy, which they did.
A young 37 year old guy we know did not have time to get Ivermectin and vitamins before his wife took him to the ER. Once there, Doctors forbid Ivermectin and vitamins in favor of Remdesiver and vent. He was dead within 2 days
My 97 year old, double vax’d, father in law, just beat it with only one night in the hospital. Was in severe bodily pain, but no respitory issues.
Most of my family, including myself have had COVID, but none of us had a bad case. Most of us are not vaxxed.
I don’t know anyone personally who has died of COVID
Son #1’s girlfriend’s good friend died of a heart attack after he got jabbed.
I am sorry for your loss of a coworker who you apparently barely knew. Is there some reason that you had the time to post a vanity but have been unable to answer any of the questions about the details or even thank well wishers???
You have been here since 1999 and know the drill. If you post a vanity, you typically participate in the discussion started.
With Nancy’s help-of course
Mr K (not the one on this forum) probably had it right at the start of the outbreak but not sure because, like me, he avoids doctors’ offices so he never got a test. He was sick for about four days and missed two days of work. He wasn’t seriously ill but he felt bad enough to be off work. (He has to visit multiple locations every day in his job and work around large numbers of people in malls, offices, stores, etc.) Then a few months later he was sick again for a couple of days, not seriously. He figures at least one of those times he had it.
I have not been sick (except from a hangover once in a while) in years. I haven’t had any sort of symptoms. I avoid doctors’ offices and settings where there are sure to be sick people. My last doctor visit where I had any sort of exam was in 2001. (Oh, I’ll make an appointment with a doctor one of these days! Stop nagging me! I feel fine! Just waiting until the “pandemic” is over, after which I’ll find another excuse.)
My mom, who I haven’t seen in more than 10 years, told me over the phone she had been very ill with it AFTER being vaccinated. She also expressed she had had what sounds like a reaction to the vaccine, although she got angry at me on that conversation and we’ve gone back to not speaking. She’s still alive, though. No one else in the family has died or she would have told me, or so I suppose.
Recently a WHOLE BUNCH of staff were out sick at Mr K’s work (it’s a construction company). Some of them had SARS-COv2 and they were quite sick, but all have recovered and gone back to work. He said he has not noticed an absence of people with whom he regularly interacts, such as office and apartment managers, except that a lot of people are working from home so the offices seem a bit empty, though no one has died. His boss (almost 90 years old) had something like pneumonia and was hospitalized some months ago but it wasn’t SARS-COv2.
I find that I’m getting angrier and angrier at people such as Andrew Cuomo - all those nursing home residents DIDN’T HAVE TO DIE and he should be held accountable.
“Early on I knew seven who died”
I am on #10. All either classmates, friends or aquiantances of friends. Found out recently another fraternity brother died of covid 2 weeks ago. That makes 2.
I agree but it should be required to list the comorbidities, the severity of them and the length of time these comorbidities have existed. This is the proper way to make a judgement on just how likely or serious COVID is to the rest of the public.
For years we have been told that America is too fat and that we don't exercise enough and don't eat well but that sentiment abated when condemning "fat shaming" became a thing. Then we had overweight bra and underwear commercials, "This is healthy" obese model commercials, and the like.
Lastly, we should be focused on how this thing came into being and exacting revenge.
This will never happen while the establishment, on both sides, continues to exist.
