It’s been weeks since we learned that a search warrant had been issued in Santa Fe County, New Mexico for Alec Baldwin’s cell phone as part of the investigation into the shooting death of Halyna Hutchins, with Baldwin having fired the fatal shot. And yet, despite more than twenty days having passed, with Baldwin and his wife having been seen out on the town, the phone still hasn’t been turned over to investigators. What could possibly be causing the holdup? The New York Post published an article this week in which they spoke with some legal experts who offered possible explanations.

No matter your intelligence or mental state, you can always compare yourself to him and feel good.
I’m tired of baldwin not getting charged with the crime of negligent homicide.
His provider has everything — incoming/outgoing call info, text messages, etc. A simple subpoena will do the trick.
It’s hard to blame them for being libs, join them and there is no accountability, R’s on the other hand, deal with witch hunts.

How is it possible to not turn over a requested piece of evidence to the authorities & not be arrested if you don’t??
Do the authorities have the technology to retrieve what has almost certainly been wiped from the phone?
