CDC Director Drops Bombshell Calling COVID Testing Protocol Into Question
Red State ^ | 12/29/2021 | Nick Arama

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky made a stunning comment on “Good Morning America” today.

The newly updated CDC guidelines don’t require testing at the end of isolation because PCR tests can stay positive for up to 12 weeks, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky told “Good Morning America” Wednesday. “So we would have people in isolation for a very long time if we were relying on PCRs,” Walensky explained.

Wait, what?

So you mean that the tests aren’t accurate to tell if you still have the virus now? And that you’re just telling us that they might throw positives for up to 12 weeks, even after you might no longer be contagious? Why are we only hearing about this now from the CDC? How long have they known this? All kinds of people and businesses have been making decisions based on these tests. They’ve factored into restrictions and lockdowns, and now we hear that they may not be accurate? Why, then, was so much built around them?

So they’re just eliminating the need for testing after isolation? How do you know then when you are no longer contagious if you’re now telling us the tests aren’t a good indicator? Then what you’re saying is that you’re just picking a random time to end isolation, after which you may or may not still be contagious?

Can we say clown car administration? I can’t say it enough: Why are they only saying this now? Others have raised questions about their accuracy in the past for the same reasons and were attacked for doing so. So it’s not something dependent on “new” information that the CDC just discovered.

Walensky also said that according to early data looked at by the FDA, rapid antigen tests may be less sensitive when it comes to the Omicron variant.

“We do know that the most sensitive test you can do is a PCR test,” Walensky said. “So if you have symptoms and you have a negative antigen test, we do ask you to go and get a PCR to make sure those symptoms are not attributable to COVID.” Oh, goody, so the rapid tests might not be as accurate either for Omicron. She said they were still encouraging their use, though.

This follows them shortening the isolation period from 10 days to five days for those who were asymptomatic at that point, although they recommended that the people continue to wear masks for five days. Dr. Anthony Fauci revealed that at least part of the reason was economic — because otherwise there could be so many people out society could grind to a halt. This morning, Walensky said on CNN that the change “really had a lot to do with what we thought people would be able to tolerate.” Again, sounding a lot more like politics.

Once the Good Guys and Safe People started getting sick, all these supposedly very important precautions fell away quickly, didn’t they. https://t.co/ZYUO3vwUpj

— Drew Holden (@DrewHolden360) December 29, 2021

Walensky’s comments understandably set off a firestorm of questions and anger on social media. What’s coming that they’ve suddenly come out with all these “truths?” Is it because the “good people” are getting it so the same rules can’t apply? At this point, the Biden team has burnt any credibility that they had left on the issue.

Hi @CDCDirector. Does the above mean that we don’t need a negative test 48-72 hours before flying into the US since fake/irrelevant positives can linger for 12 weeks?

— Yossi Gestetner (@YossiGestetner) December 29, 2021

Many “public health” bureaucrats have been making this stuff up as they go along for a long time and are nothing more than political operatives for democrats.

Some of us have been calling them out for a while. The veil is coming down. #NoVaccinePassports #NoLockDowns https://t.co/oOvzZzFHga

— Eric Schmitt (@Eric_Schmitt) December 29, 2021

The so-called experts have spent two years lying to us.

They destroyed our businesses, harmed our kids, and now Joe Biden is absolving national responsibility as variants spread to the vaccinated.

Stop living in fear and stop listening to those who failed. https://t.co/XtQWVdEW4c

They always knew that fragments of debris from viruses can remain detectable for weeks after encounter with pathogens. Our bodies often fight off viruses and other pathogens without ever becoming ill so the fake PCR test was known, from the start, to create meaningless false positives. They knew. They needed a fake test to give them concontrol over the 'narrative' and letting them create and reduce fake Covid case numbers at will.

You’re right. They knew. The kabuki continues. They had to do something to keep up appearances.

They’ve always known that PCR tests can’t tell the difference between live virus and dead virus. Anyone that works with the technology has known this.

Still, it’s hilarious how tone deaf and stupid our government “experts” are. They just keep stepping on landmines because the truth is not in them.

30 Dec: 7News Australia: Epidemiologist blasts proposed changes to Australia’s close contact rules ahead of National Cabinet
by Hamish Goodall
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has called a snap meeting of National Cabinet on Thursday, where state and territory leaders will be asked to agree on a national definition of a close contact...

Under the shake-up, a close contact would be limited to people exposed to the virus within a household ***for more than four hours.

This means people who only spent a small amount of time near an infected person would need to monitor for symptoms rather than get tested and isolate.

Close contacts would face a shortened week-long quarantine and be required take a rapid antigen test on day six as well as a second swab on day 12.
Mr Morrison hopes the change would alleviate staff shortages, with many businesses forced to close after workers were sent into isolation in recent weeks...

The whole covid fraud is beginning to fall apart.

This cannot be allowed to end with “mistakes were made”.

Hundreds of participants in this medical fraud including many doctors and hospital administrators must be prosecuted and sent to prison. This was not a mistake, it was a massive crime against humanity.

How long have they known this?

I had Covid for a week before I had symptoms, Wife made me get tested. got a postitive THEN I got symptoms - Chills, sweats, low Blood ox, Severe fatigue, urge to Kill Fauci, etc. for two days, then it broke and I felt better each day of the 11 more days I was in Quarratine and on the 14th day, feeling 100% back to normal, I get tested... 2 days later i’m told its positive and I waste another week not working.

Dumbest. Pandemic. Ever.

Let me help.

There is a war going on about tests, testing, and how to use tests to improve the situation.

PCR testing is extremely sensitive. So sensitive, in fact, that it can find one gene copy of SARS CoV 2 if it is present. In patients with COVID, it turns positive early and stays positive for a long time - sometimes months. CDC has defined a positive PCR >90 days after the first as a new infection, but this is arbitrary.

Antigen testing is less sensitive - you have to have a higher viral load in the nose to be positive. It has been proposed that this can be used as a test for contagiousness, since it rises and falls rapidly (usually) and correlates pretty well with what we think is the infectious period.

There is a leading scientist named Michael Mina who has been screaming for two years that instead of quarantines and isolations for defined periods of time after the fact, that antigen testing should be so widely available that you could test yourself (and keep it to yourself) three times a week, avoiding contacts when positive, and living freely when not.

Like a lot of things with COVID, this immediately polarized people into “PCR is the best” vs. “Fast frequent testing is best” - right now, fast frequent testing is winning in most of the world, but CDC won’t give in, in part because fast frequent testing is relatively unavailable in the US with chaos in production and distribution, and (relatively) high prices.

Public health budgets could provide free testing to most people at least twice a week if we had wartime production strategy - but we don’t. Jen Psaki was asked about this a few weeks ago, and she sneered, “What, you think we are going to send free tests to people?”

So, for your personal use - an Abbott Binax ID now test can give you a pretty good idea if you have COVID and are infectious to others in fifteen minutes. A formal PCR can tell you, five days later, if you carry SARS CoV 2 RNA in your nose but it can’t tell you when, for how long, if you are contagious, or what specific care, if any, you should be getting.

There are a lot of PCR+ people showing up in emergency rooms now asking for help because of this.

Pfizer’s own 6 month report data on its COVID-19 inoculation shows that greater illness and death in the inoculation arm than the placebo arm. Plus, poor trial design, missing data, underpowered studies, passive surveillance and more.
