Glastonbury, Connecticut — An 8-year-old Boston terrier named Henry has been praised by its owners for saving the life of their 9-month-old baby.
Henry’s Owners, Kelly and Jeff Dowling said their pup would not rest on Monday night when he multiple times barged into their daughter’s nursery and tried to wake the baby.
The parents told ABC 6 that their dog usually puts himself to bed and kind of keeps to himself. However, Henry refused to go to bed that night, and according to his owners, the dog was headbutting the door open and going into the baby’s room and standing there.
“We don’t deserve dogs!” She’s absolutely right.
Great story!
Great story....just right for this time of year...
Dog is man’s best friend
Muslims hate dogs
Add that up.

Good dog! Thanks for posting this.
Henry is a hero!!!!!!!!!!
My yellow lab white German Shepard mix saved my youngest son’s life by barking when the little guy went out the front door and was headed for the street back in 95. Maybe nothing would have happened but....
By the way his name was Yeller. The dog. Not my son.
Was he an old dog?

Dogs are faithful to a fault when it comes to “Their People”. Muslims are never faithful, not even to other muslims.
They hate dogs because fido makes a muzz look like the lieing sack of crap he is.
I wish I was the person my dog thinks I am.
That is DesertRhino’s tagline.
No we don’t deserve them. I heard this morning on the radio about a stray dog that saved a family’s lives when the house caught on fire.
A stray dog that we adopted when I was a kid saved my grandmother’s life. She slipped on an icy sidewalk behind the house and knocked herself out. He crawled on top of her and kept her warm until she woke up.
People underestimate the intelligence, feelings, and natural instinct to protect people that dogs possess.
Thank you, knew I’d seen it somewhere, could not remember where.
Might have been me, but I think I ended it with ‘do the math’.
We’re in mourning at the nully nest as our foundling dog is in doggie jail for no crime. He needs to stay there for a few more days in the faint hope that his “real” owner, who had apparently abandoned him shows up.
Then to the Humane Society where we are first in line to adopt him.
Which we will! He’s been very good for us, and vice-versa!
None of us will ever measure up to that standard. The best we can do is to strive to be as close to it as humanly possible.
Henry is much smarter than his humans.
We got McLovin in July and he turned into my personal fitness chihuahua as he loves to run.
I look forward to getting out of bed to hang out with my fuzzy buddy and am down 26 lbs the fun way. I despise jogging but a stiff paced walk with a 400 yard sprint at the end is hilarious, 4 times a day.
Such a cool dude.
