I came down with the flu on 12/3 but am back to work. just have coughing left, however hubs, who is self employed, has been off his feet since 12/6. He received an RX for amoxicillin, however that is only working on the bacterial side. The viral side is keeping him down, fatigue, fever that comes and goes, soreness, headaches etc.
We live in upstate NY and both are insured under my insurance plan (which I was going to retire next month but now doesn't look like it due to Bidenflation). We also have Ivermectin that we took early on. Seems to have helped in my case but him not so much. We are also taking Vitamin D, Zinc and vitamin C. He is 53 with blood pressure issues (non medicated) and I am 61.
Any thoughts?
How much and for how long?

ZINC! Coldeze, vitamin tablets etc., and then vitamin C at a different time of day from the zinc.
See a Dr.
Can he taste and smell?
Do not check him into a hospital.
Seriously.

Double or triple for treatment. Treatment course is 5 days.
Chart assumes 3mg pills
Take him to a DR now!
Keep taking the Ivermectin and increase the dose by 50 lbs. This thing lingers.
Microbial Antibodies …. If there is a physician willing to treat him with such and physician has a supply. Supply varies from region to region
Don’t post here; go get help. Get a good doctor, not one that will slap him into a hospital.
Get those monoclonal antibodies. They work.
Its crazy that one should come to a site where the vast majority of us are not medical professionals to ask for medical advice. But these are crazy times with corrupted influences on the medical industry. Best advice is to find a good doctor who has not been corrupted by big pharma interests...and take their advice.

Monitor his blood oxygen level with a pulse oximeter. You can pick one up at Walmart or a pharmacy or even Publix grocery stores have them.
Do not check him into a hospital.
Seriously.
This, x100.
Seriously.........
The experiences of 3 of my friends and my friends ex who has now been in the hospital for over a month with COVID has told me what many here have been saying. The hospitals do not have your well being as their number 1 concern.
Fart in his general direction,if he smells it,its not covid. No thanks needed my wife and I test each other several times a day,,,,
Ditto
Watch comedy movies. A Merry Heart doeth GOOD like a good medicine. Really
Do not check him into a hospital.

I understand why someone would say this, but reading it made me cringe.
Fatigue, fever, and headaches coming and going is a little worrisome. Particularly the fever. Nothing to panic about if it doesn’t get worse, but the fever is supposed to subside. Moderately long term fatigue is not all that unusual. Someone (besides people talking on a website) should be looking at where the infection and inflammation is and whether it needs mitigation
NAC and Quercetin will help reduce respiratory symptoms. Load up on vitamins C, D3, and zinc. If the infection is active, take 10,000 IU of the D3.
