Collectivism is when the Collective matters a great deal and everyone is encouraged to behave in a manner which benefits the Greater Good [of the Collective].
Fascism, Socialism, Progressivism, Communism are all Collectivist philosophies.
Anyone who cares about Individual worth should reject such thinking. The Greater Good is an evil tool for stomping on the lives, liberty and happiness of individuals.
