HOT TAKES: Leftists Have a Collective Mental Breakdown Over Rittenhouse Verdict

The verdict is in and the trial is over. Kyle Rittenhouse has been judged not guilty on all counts in connection to the shooting in Kenosha, WI. As you might have expected, the left wasn’t too happy about the jury’s decision.

At this very moment, the Twitterverse is full of hot takes from aggrieved, virtue-signaling leftists whining about how America is such a racist nation because it did not convict a man who clearly defended himself from three aggressors. Here are some gems for your viewing pleasure.

Voto Latino, a left-wing activist organization ostensibly dedicated to “empowering a new generation of Latinx voters,” tweeted:

Kyle Rittenhouse has been found “not guilty” on all charges.

We all saw this coming but this is another reminder that white supremacy is alive and well in America.

Far-left progressive group Democracy Now also chimed in, claiming that Rittenhouse’s verdict was the result of “white supremacy.” They tweeted:

The Nation’s @ElieNYC predicted weeks ago that Rittenhouse would likely go free. “I don’t have a crystal ball,” he said. “What I know is the law, and what I know is what white people are willing to do to defend white supremacy.”

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio defended the men who attacked Rittenhouse, calling them “victims”:

Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum are victims. They should be alive today.

The only reason they’re not is because a violent, dangerous man chose to take a gun across state lines and start shooting people.

To call this a miscarriage of justice is an understatement.

Leftist activist and grifter Shaun King, also known as Martin Luther Cream, takes issue with gun laws that are supposedly used against black Americans. He wrote:

BREAKING: Kyle Rittenhouse was just found NOT GUILTY on ALL charges. Yeah, all of them.

Ultimately, gun laws were imagined, written, and are enforced in America to protect white boys and men.

Those same laws are primarily used punitively against Black people.

America.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid also weighed in:

We knew, but it’s sometimes helpful to remind ourselves how America was designed to work. It continues to work as designed. We have learned again what is considered legal for *some* people to do in America. It’s helpful to know where you stand in your country. Be safe out there.

California state Sen. Scott Wiener brought the shooting of Tamir Rice into the situation:

-12 year old Tamir Rice is killed for looking like a “threat” while playing.

-17 year old vigilante Kyle Rittenhouse — who shot & killed 2 people — is acquitted.

Our racist justice system has once again profoundly failed the American people.

— Senator Scott Wiener (@Scott_Wiener) November 19, 2021

Rashad Robinson, President of Color of Change, also claimed the acquittal was due to white supremacy:

It’s not that Rittenhouse’s acquittal is a win for white supremacy. It’s that Rittenhouse was acquitted BECAUSE white supremacy still controls the entire process.

— Rashad Robinson (@rashadrobinson) November 19, 2021

The left has been promoting the white supremacy narrative ever since this story was brought to national attention. Left-leaning politicians and media activists insisted Rittenhouse was a virulent white supremacist who was looking for blood in Kenosha on that day.

However, not a single one of these individuals found a shred of evidence showing that the young man holds racist views – and there can be no doubt that they scoured his social media, desperately looking for any post that could be construed as bigoted. Unfortunately, they will continue using this story to push their “everyone is racist” narrative. The question is: Will America buy it?

Sounds like good advice, however there is a process for weeding out the kind of people you are encouraging to serve jury duty.

So now Kyle Rittenhouse is responsible for all of the shootings in Chicago?

There is a LOT of duplication in this post! Is there some reason that a lot of FR posters think that one needs to quote a Tweet, then post the same Tweet with the quotation?!? I find that I read everything TWICE! What is the point?

“However, not a single one of these individuals found a shred of evidence showing that the young man holds racist views “

__________

Successfully demonizing as racists specific white people in the headlines who are, in reality, clearly not racists, gets these evil people the biggest bang for their reputation-destroying buck.

Seeing this done with such impunity forces other clearly non-racist white people to conclude that they could easily be next.

Ergo they clam up, fearing to defend other clearly non-racist white people from reputationsl attack.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

“What I know is the law, and what I know is what white people are willing to do to defend white supremacy.”

I have found it useful whenever a Leftist uses the phrase "white supremacy" to substitute the phrase "white existence." It give a more accurate picture of what the speaker really means.

CNN’s Allison Cammarata expressed sympathy for the families of those who were killed or injured. She put up on the screen comments by a relative of one of them. There was zero mention of their attacking Kyle or their rap sheets.

She had a jury consultant speak who was very reasonable. After his segment did not go well for her point of view, CNN switched to bringing up remembrances of previous incidents that involved black people. They are desperate to have this be about race

I also get heartburn from red sauce, but I’m still drawn to it like moth to flame. Thankfully, it’s not severe.

I'm only encouraging people to be on juries. I trust that once on a jury, they will be influenced by the behaviors of their fellow jurors and will do the right thing.

It's one thing to say something anonymously about a trial on the internet. It's quite another thing to be in an actual courtroom, take an oath to be on the jury, and then perform your civic duty.

Most people will do the right thing on a jury, despite what they might say to the television about another case.

I see that you are referring to your post as: “Stuff happens....”?

Did you not read the post that you wrote before you posted it? Or is there some software genii that magically replicates phrases in FR posts after one hits the post button. You certainly aren’t the only poster to do this.

While my fingers are crossed with hope, I fear that this Administration will not let this go. Yes it is done for Wisconsin but the DoJ could bring OTHER CHARGES against Mr Rittenhouse on several fronts and not violate ‘dual jeopardy’. This is the scary aspect of the multitude of Federal Laws and Regulations, the more that there is, the more vulnerable we become, especially when we become ‘visible’.

Ayn Rand in Atlas Shrugged (1957); Dr Ferris to Hank Rearden; “One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt.”

Allison Cammarata on CNN was helping to form Karen’s opinion of the trial. She said “AR style rifle brought to a racial justice protest”. Anyone who saw any of the videos knew that even if there had been any kind of a “mostly peaceful” protest, it had ended long before the self defense incidents took place. What was happening when the shootings took place was arson, destruction, etc. strictly a riot.

It’s really nothing less than evil how these persons divide and encourage hatred among people.

Second, willing to be that most likely many of those speaking out didn’t bother to ACTUALLY WATCH THE TRIAL and think objectively about the testimony. And no, watching the biased brief propaganda on CNN or MSNBC does not count.
