“It’s a bit of a supply crunch we have right now, there’s nothing major, until the refineries in Northern California can get back up to full production capacity,” said Jeffrey Spring, Corporate Communications Manager of the Automobile Club of Southern California.Yeah, "supply crunch" only due to refineries operating below capacity. That's the ticket. After all, Jeffrey is one smart cookie.

when I was in Tx under Obama you could only pump $75 at a transaction, not enough to fill the tank.

Not Biden's fault or Newsome's fault. It's the rain's fault! LOL
The news media is as fake as Milli Vanilli!

$2.89/gallon near me, which IS lower than it was. $2.92 is the highest right now at Shell.

Since much of that CA price is self-caused, not sure how to feel about this news...

WHAT? Heavy rainstorms? I thought we in Cali were in the worst drought in years. I'm in So. Cal so maybe I've missed these "heavy rainstorms" up north - when did they happen? I also thought most of the refineries were in So. Cal. But then what do I know of the oil refining process?

Right. It was the rain.
Every year they cook up some bs story like that to shut down the refinery’s in Benicia.
The price started rocketing up as soon as Brandon killed the pipeline and fracking operations.
The oil masters are leveraging that with their more time honored scams to squeeze a pretty penny out.
It’s win-win for them:
- They make tons of $$$
- Brandon takes the blame
Can’t do any better.

One reason for the increase, AAA said, is the state’s reduced refinery production capacity due to heavy rainstorms in northern California which then trickled down the supply chain, impacting southern California similar to what happened in Louisiana during Hurricane Ida last August. Baloney.
It’s the state government that is responsible for the cost of living there. Nothing else.

California has more ‘homeless’ too - and wider wage disparities, and massive crime and it’s a hellhole.
When the country peacefully divides California can be their capital city... it would be soooooooo fitting.
