WHAT? Heavy rainstorms? I thought we in Cali were in the worst drought in years. I'm in So. Cal so maybe I've missed these "heavy rainstorms" up north - when did they happen? I also thought most of the refineries were in So. Cal. But then what do I know of the oil refining process?

I'm in So. Cal so maybe I've missed these "heavy rainstorms" up north - when did they happen?

We had one bad rainstorm that caused some localized flooding for a day or two during the last week of October. If that was enough to cause a problem in the supply chain, then the chain is about ready to disintegrate completely...
