A New York Magazine writer tried to mock a family of 11 struggling with inflation because of their weekly purchase of 12 gallons of milk.
The mother of the big family, Krista Stotler said during a CNN interview that “‘A gallon of milk was $1.99. Now it’s $2.79. When you buy 12 gallons a week, times four weeks, that’s a lot of money.’” The Twitter Trends negatively portrayed the family’s purchase of 12 gallons: “A CNN segment analyzing 'how badly inflation is hitting the middle class' has some discussing why the family featured purchases 12 gallons of milk per week.” As Mediaite clearly explained concerning the eleven-member family, “each individual is drinking roughly a gallon of milk.” That context didn’t matter to leftist elitists on Twitter who attacked the family for allegedly being excessive. One of them was New York Magazine writer Jonathan Chait. Chait spewed on Twitter: “12 gallons of milk a week may sound like a lot, but they've actually had to cut out their milk baths on alternate days.”

An elitist hypocrite, one of the worst kind who claims to be conservative.........
7 kids in our house growing up. To be honest my folks bought powered milk. Dad was pretty good at mixing it and getting something close to milk.
Unfortunately, now powdered milk is more expensive than fresh milk, at least at the stores near me. I wish it were lower-priced. I would stock up on it.
with the state adoption monies.
People who adopt a lot of children from the state get allowances that depend on how difficlut the child is , physically or emotionally. This can run into two or three thousand a month if the child has severe problems. These people are essentially caseworkers. Tough job. All those residential institutions that closed? This is what replaced them.
NYS has the strictest rules on milk and milk freshness in the country.
Milk here in the hinterland has been held for processing for a very long time. Think week or more. The turn around for NYC is only two or three days.
Here is the raw immaturity of this bubble-land schnorrer, his idea of apologizing for insulting a large foster family because they simply acknowledged out-of-control inflation under Biden, was to reveal his absurd seething against Youngkin's victory:
"Between the new anti-viral pills and the jobs report, the Youngkin regime is already delivering incredible results"
The flipside is that I, yon Hinterlander, can get same-day unpasteurized with a 3-minute drive -- it's in the fridge right now -- and the worthless scum in Manhattan couldn't get that with a private jet charter.
Also cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, butter, buttermilk, ice cream, whey -- unpasteurized dairy items that cost 20x more in Hells Kitchen.
Tomorrow morning I will arise to head down to yon market to claim my Amish-grown turkey for Thanksgiving. $2.85 a pound. No feed, no antibiotics, no GMF, hell they probably sang hymns to the turkeys every night.
Meanwhile your NYC douchebag will pay $6.25 a pound for Wegman's "Organic", and he will NOT be able to even BUY a WHOLE "Organic" turkey at that price. Just the breast. LOFL.
SCHADENFREUDE!
