Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon is warning that “winter is coming” and it won’t be pretty for the American people.
During a segment on his “War Room Podcast,” Bannon warned that the “bleakest, darkest Christmas in living memory” is coming.
“The revered Economist, what is their headline? The Shortage Economy. America needs to prepare… Get ready for the bleakest, darkest Christmas in living memory… This is far beyond stagflation,” Bannon said.
“We’re entering into another faze. It’s all the converging forces. Remember, elections have consequences, illegal elections have catastrophic consequences,” he added.
”This is why we’re in dangerous territory right now. Biden’s fiscal and monetary stimulus is the most reckless thing in American history. And you know who’s going to pay for that, the workers… I’m gonna tell you, This Christmas, it’s going to hit and it’s going to hit like nobody’s business. And nobody else in all media is going to tell you this,” he added.

My parents were children in the Depression. For Christmas my mother was given a treasure: an orange. That was it.
We will do well to downscale our decadently plastic Christmas.

I plan on teaching my Grandkids how to craft some simple Christmas decorations and hand made gifts. Teach them the value of a handmade or hand baked gift. They are 2 and 4 yrs. old. They love making things with me and cooking with their Grandpa also.

As long as my family is healthy, the pets are healthy (we just got a new kitten, and our dog and older cat are over the moon with this new little critter they both adore) I’m pretty much at peace with whatever is thrown our way.

Exactly. Anybody can figure out how to enjoy a very happy Christmas, without having to buy a lot of STUFF.
Churches will still have Midnight Mass and beautiful music. The turkey or ham might cost more, but a smart cook can make a feast on a shoestring.

You are very sanguine while we march straight into the jaws of becoming a Communist Country. So you can sit there and sip your tea because you know the reason for the season, while the rest of the Country steps further into oppression and gov’t control while our economy tanks. One day you may wake up and find you have no tea to sip.
Get off your comfy couch and fight back instead of sitting on your moral high horse of religiosity if that is where you are coming from, or you won’t have a country to practice your religion in unless you do it in hiding.
Now is not the time for trite comments. Bannon is right; we are fighting for the very soul of our country. Look around you; do you like what you see is happening? If not, do something about it. Action required, not sipping tea.
