Watching some shocking videos. A fellow freeper from Australia posted yesterday. Said this is not coming from federal government but from individual states who control almost all health issues. Some of the worse violence is coming from liberal state governments.
The local governments are refusing to allow the Aussies to develop natural immunity. The virus will continue to be a threat forever, the Aussies are, for the most part, a strong and healthy people.

Both major parties in Australia are involved in lockdowns in the states they govern also the PM the Conservative Christian PM Scott Morrison of the Liberal Party which is the “Republicans” of Australia is saying the way back to “normal” is to get vaccinated.
The Deputy PM from the National Party Barnaby Joyce has said it again in the last 24 hours.
“Get Vaccinated”=”Get Back To Normal”
Please say left-wing state governments. The Liberal party here is conservative. It is the Labor party that is is the problem.

Gladys Berejiklian Premier of New South Wales and imposer of the Sydney Lockdown is from the Liberal Party of Australia the party on the “Right” while Daniel Andrews of the Labor Party in Victoria where the Melbourne Lockdown takes place is from the “Left” in Australian politics.
How come I never hear about Perth in all this? Western Australia relatively sane?
They just haven’t had a “case” to justify a lockdown.
Yes she is a problem. However, lockdowns seem to be the way we have decided to handle Covid outbreaks. While she has had plenty of them, they have generally been of lesser amounts of time and a greater desire to return to normalcy sooner.
Premier Dan seems to love lockdowns and keeping them in place. Not happy with Gladys, but she is still orders better than Dan in Melbourne.
Unfortunately we have another lefty here in WA, but our isolation has kept us safe from the policies he would otherwise subject us to.
We’ve had a few lockdowns, but nothing quite as extreme. McGowan would love to implement Chairman Dan’s policies here, but our isolation has kept him from doing so.

And PM Scott Morrison is Pontius Pilate sort of letting the states do their thing washing his hands of it.
But his clear message and Barnaby Joyce Deputy PM’s as well the plan is “normal” follows “vaccination”.
You all are being told by the “Conservative” leaders of your country to get vaccinated to return to normal.
Its a form of coercion pure and simple.
Unfortunately, you are right. Liberals have been very disappointing in this whole nightmare. They haven’t differentiated themselves from Labor very well or even at all.
Morrison has stood back and not done much, but our separation of powers between the federal govt and the states is much closer to what the U.S. had prior to the Civil War. Our Federal government isn’t all powerful like the U.S. Fedzilla. While I’m disappointed in him and Joyce and several others, their hands are somewhat tied.
There is little excuse for Gladys. She has hardly represented the liberty that the Liberal party supposedly prides itself on. She is one of the best arguments for some of the smaller parties.
It is important to note that the states and fed are approaching this plandemic in much the same way (although with newer technology) as they did the Spanish Flu from 100 years ago. If the govt continues to do so, eventually we should see much if not all of this end. The states may fight it, but at some point the Fed and courts will restore liberties. Most Aussies still trust the govt and the level of corruption is very low compared to most of the world.
Either we are naïve or we will see a light at the end of the tunnel. This only time will tell.
