Unfortunately, you are right. Liberals have been very disappointing in this whole nightmare. They haven’t differentiated themselves from Labor very well or even at all.
Morrison has stood back and not done much, but our separation of powers between the federal govt and the states is much closer to what the U.S. had prior to the Civil War. Our Federal government isn’t all powerful like the U.S. Fedzilla. While I’m disappointed in him and Joyce and several others, their hands are somewhat tied.
There is little excuse for Gladys. She has hardly represented the liberty that the Liberal party supposedly prides itself on. She is one of the best arguments for some of the smaller parties.
It is important to note that the states and fed are approaching this plandemic in much the same way (although with newer technology) as they did the Spanish Flu from 100 years ago. If the govt continues to do so, eventually we should see much if not all of this end. The states may fight it, but at some point the Fed and courts will restore liberties. Most Aussies still trust the govt and the level of corruption is very low compared to most of the world.
Either we are naïve or we will see a light at the end of the tunnel. This only time will tell.
