A few weeks ago, three friends on Facebook told me that they wished for my death.
One of them I didn’t really know. He freaked out when I calmly suggested there were viable treatment options for those with Covid. He responded: “Stay out of my life!! I hope you get Covid and die!”
The other two friends were people I knew in college 45 years ago, one was my freshman year roommate, and the other guy introduced me to my first wife. He suggested that I prove Darwin’s theory and perish from the virus, the other just basically said I deserved what was coming as a selfish unvaccinated science-denier.
Covid’s willing executioners....
As we all know, Facebook is the place of no inhibition. However, that said, I do believe it is a grave concern that human beings can be manipulated into this dark manner of thinking and feeling.
The operative word here is “manipulate.”
I do have faith, that for the most part, human beings have evolved from a cave mentality when confronting “other” in the culture. In cave days our psychology was programmed for survival, and it didn’t take much coercion to view members from another tribe that wandered into territory that was not their own to be immediately met with suspicion and fear.
Today, many thousands of years later, I think it takes a bit of manipulation to view “other” as fatally dangerous—but not much coercion, so it seems.
In this regard it appears we have lost any scintilla of common sense. How can a government (or more likely an even higher organization of authority) convince the masses so easily that the unvaccinated are the mortal enemy with not a whiff of science in the argument?....

On a very different, more left leaning forum, years ago, when Obama was running for POTUS for the first time, some people on one of the threads suggested that maybe Obama was the antichrist. A common snide remark to presidential candidates.
However, one leftist on the thread made a remarkable comment.
He hoped he *was* the antichrist! This left several posters aghast. So we asked him why? He replied that if he was, then he would reward his followers and kill “our” enemies!
So, you are willing to worship the personification of evil, for “stuff”, and to hurt others? Yep.
This left a great impression on me at the time, and was even before the Democrats renounced God three times at their convention.
It all rises above normal debate. How do you debate someone who wants to murder others?

When I was a dermatology resident I visited the leper colony in Carville, Louisiana (yes that Carville family). Looks like the vaccinated have decided that the unvaccinated are the new lepers. But not those infected with HIV, because of political correctness, they are a protected minority

Just an observation: black folk in NY and NJ love wearing their masks all the time but won’t get vaccinated at a high rate. There are lots of pro-mask anti vax people in this country (I am vaxxed but consider non-N95 masks to be absolutely worthless).
Desensitization programs are a step toward genocide, so the author is right to be concerned. These aren’t his “friends” unless you count the guy who’s waving goodbye to you as your train pulls out for the camps a friend.

This hatred for, and willingness to kill the unvaxxed can be traced back to biden’s sorry speech the other day in which he demonized the unvaxxed.
The other think I have wondered about regarding the masks is the degree to which people are afraid they will have a cell phone picture of them snapped and they will be reported to HR for being unvaxxed and unmasked at a supermarket by their snitch co-worker.
In the part of Texas I came from, publicly telling people you want them dead is a good way to get your own lamp blowed out.
Yeah I think Todd has leftist facebook friends. People have been indoctrinated in communist ways for decades in the country and the communist way is to wish death on or kill those that don’t agree with you.
It started with the climate change thing.
Non believers are gonna kill us all by killing the planet so they deserve to die.
Then capitalism because that’s the driving force behind those that are killing the planet. They’re doing it out of greed they say.
Now it’s at the point where they “just know better” about everything and all their info comes from the leftist msm. The same msm with people saying certain other people deserve to die.
The leftists are being mentally trained or prepared to be fine with millions of people dying or being killed.
