The elites--Charles Schwab at the World Economic Forum, the front man, the real powers, Zbigniew Brzezinski with David Rockefeller in the 1970s, Gro Harlem Brundtland around 2000, or today, Parag Khanna, at Davos, backed by BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street with 67% of world assets--decided that the U.S. must finally, definitively go down after the long decline since the early 1970s, the U.S. must no longer have any real economic autonomy, because its example of freedom to the world causes process disruption in efficient top-down control of all world economic resources.
In Jr. College in the late 1970s, I had to research the wide range of voter participation, by country. I noted that Switzerland had, to my understanding, low voter turn-out, and I noticed the coincidence that it had been centuries since they had been invaded, I think in the time of the great Swedish general Gustavus Adolphus, died 1632, perhaps as symbolized by Giacomo Rossini's "William Tell Overture". It seems to have been because Switzerland was the banking neutral between any war's various blocks of combatants, where the various sides' ultra-rich could still trade with the enemy. So, at the same time that Switzerland hadn't been invaded for a long time, for the obvious advantage of a long tradition of peace, they suffered the unintended consequence of voter apathy. (Disagreements invited, but, please, give a serious reasoning for disagreeing.)
Are the events in Afghanistan, as well as the dissolution of our borders, part of a broader plan, to really, finally bring America to its knees, unable to stand up as a torch of freedom to groups as disparate, just around January 6, as Hong Kong and Tokyo pro-Trump demonstrators? Is the devastation of planned war in our near future?
Time will tell.

I think they are counting on owning the soil without any real fight.
Could be something else. The end of USD as the global currency. It’s sort of predicated on us being the super power that has our allies backs which just went out the window. Massive spending, open the borders and fly on Afghans so we have to support millions more people costing even more money.
What happens if the world drops the USD?
Many times worse then the great depression.
It will be between neighborhoods.

There is little doubt that many in the boardrooms and upper ranks of government greatly admire the Chinese system. Read Arnold Toynbee who thought the CCP was a model for the world.
However as the British learned one cannot force all cultures into being British (or communist for that matter). Ruling in the New World, with the exception of Canada and Cuba, is a bit like herding cats. Communism just doesn’t work here (or anywhere as the CCP is actually fascist).
However it is the CCP they want. Somewhere it was told that Trump was asked to run because the situation with corruption and CCP infiltration was so bad. He could have played ball with the elites and enjoy a cushy life. He didn’t.
