Could be something else. The end of USD as the global currency. It’s sort of predicated on us being the super power that has our allies backs which just went out the window. Massive spending, open the borders and fly on Afghans so we have to support millions more people costing even more money.
What happens if the world drops the USD?
Many times worse then the great depression.

Are the events in Afghanistan, as well as the dissolution of our borders, part of a broader plan, to really, finally bring America to its knees, unable to stand up as a torch of freedom ... ?I doubt it. If our leaders' idea is "America is back" and America ends up on its back unable to get up, then they've thrown away their power. People with power don't like to throw it away.
