Chuck Schumer brought HR1 – SR 1 to the floor around 3:30 a.m. after the Senate had concluded 15 hours of amendment votes on a $3.5 trillion budget resolution. In the dead of night, Schumer sought to pass the federal overhaul of elections by unanimous consent, according to the Houston Chronicle. Only one objection by a senator was required to stop the process. In a roughly 15-minute back-and-forth, Cruz tanked Schumer’s attempt to force the election bill through the Senate.

I couldn't stand the birther talk of Obama. Even if he was born in Kenya he's a natural born citizen because his mother was a citizen.
Likewise when talking about anchor babies. Those are not natural born citizens because their parents aren't citizens, even if the baby is born on U.S. soil. Basically, if you're against the policy of anchor babies then you have to admit that the "natural born citizen" definition for both anchor babies and presidential requirements isn't based on location of birth but is instead based on whether one of the parents was a citizen.

Me neither. Without the colossal mistake of bringing soccer balls and teddies to the border with Beck, he would have contended with Trump all the way to the convention in 2016. I still think that Trump would have won. Luckily, Trump became a great president.

Regardless of Cruz’s moments of ntegrity, he was, and is, a major Corporatist Globalist laying low for now. His wife is a supporter of One World Government (or at least Union of Americas et.al) and wrote a paper for Goldman Sachs encouraging same. My tentativeness is because last time I read her paper was 2016. Watch Cruz carefully.

There are valid reasons to oppose Cruz and invalid reasons to oppose Cruz. What I’ve seen and heard from self-described conservatives are almost always invalid reasons.
