This morning I struggled with carnal temptation. But the morning came, and it was time for prayer.
In that simple prayer, I noticed the light inside my head, I heard the quiet in the room, my fingertips touched, and I felt energy between them. I noticed my heart area, my belly, and I felt the energy in my toes even, as I sat up in bed with my legs extended.
I realized–perhaps more than ever–that an ENERGY manifested throughout my body and mind. It was and is available–essentially anytime I open myself to it.
All it required, was that I pay attention to it, and not to my carnal thoughts, or my thoughts of what I intended to say to this person I hold a grudge against.
I have often thought about confronting this person (again), and exposing their misdeeds to all. But if I were to do that, it could not be with MY thoughts, MY grudges–MY idea of what should or needs to be said. Because, in reality, I don’t KNOW what needs to be said, or rather, what is WISE to say for the betterment of all.
And thinking of what I THINK should be said, merely places me OUTSIDE of this present moment, and into a THINKING posture. This is NOT of God.
This would be me PLAYING God–thinking that I know better how to deal with life than He does.
There is no POWER in contemplating our own revenge.
There is no power in our carnal thoughts.
There is no power in thinking of the past or potential future AT ALL.
I’m not saying this as a theoretical idea. I’m literally saying that in prayer, it can be readily noticed that we cannot feel energy emanating THROUGH us unless we are there in the present, and open to God’s power.
The same is true after we finish prayer and move on to our daily life, whatever that is. Being still in prayer just allows us to see more clearly what is going on inside of us, and around us.
So yes, there is indeed power in prayer. It’s not just an IDEA that you may have heard before, that merely SOUNDS good. It is A REAL FORCE–available to you when you are ready to PLUG IN to a Source infinitely greater than you… When you have seen that “YOUR” way does not work–that it does not bring you the peace of mind that you seek.
If this describes you and your situation, then I hope you will avail yourself of the “FREE ENERGY AND POWER” that is simply waiting for you to use it.

Yes, of course. Jesus answers prayers. Sometimes it’s no. Right now I think this evil has to rise until the grand finale? I don’t know, praying.
And sometimes it’s neither yes nor no but wait.
Waiting for a sense of power leaves you equally open for a counterfeit. Best to just pray normally and get on with real life the Lord has given us. You’ll have what you need when time to face whatever.
Prayer is asking; meditation is waiting.
Hmmm ... elements of new age dogma on that “energy surge”... Sometimes you don’t feel anything. Does not mean the call did not go through.

I’m not sure about the term, “energy surge”, but there I times when I feel I’m not getting through the way I should. I know I am, but I also believe it’s a sign that there is something in my life that needs to be worked on.

We know what we want; God knows what we need.
Yes, my daughter is living proof...
Paralyzed, blind and unconscious with global anoxia of the brain... she now is getting straight A’s in college...
None of the doctors can explain it... Some called it a miracle...

Hundreds, if not thousands, prayed for her... her name was brought up in churches across the globe... Many Freepers were part of call to heaven to intercede...
God moved and my daughter woke and overcame all...
I don’t know why He saved her... but I am eternally thankful...

Amen! If you FEEL confident, it isn’t faith. Faith is what persists when feeling and reason says you are screwed.
And our faith is in GOD, not in getting what we ask for regardless! We ask like foolish children but we have faith in GOD to see us through.
“Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.” - James 1 Endurance because we often do NOT get what we asked for, but what God wills instead - and it is often a drawn out process, in which we change to accept GOD’S will, not change God to accept OURS!
You know your prayer is answered when you receive far more than originally requested.

Which - some readers will recognise - presents as a slowly increasing pressure over the course of several days.
This time, unlike other times, I attended mass online. I beheld the Lamb of God, I asked Him for help - and the anguish and temptation fell away.
I repeated this over several days: and then the temptation was completely gone.

I understand your concern, but the article describes the tactile sense of a presence that is there in the universe. It is not a feeling—per se—but a recognition of what is already there.
Good point. That is true. Sometimes we feel nothing. So the noticing of the Power that is there is not the ONLY proof point—if you will—that we are in communion with whaat Christians call the Holy Spirit.
