White privilege is a myth. A relic of a time that no longer exists and that none of us living and raising kids today have ever really experienced. There was once a time when legal and cultural advantages were offered to whites, but those days are gone and pretending otherwise is causing great damage to children and our society.
White Privilege Talk Harms Children Psychologically White privilege is a concept which hurts both white and non-white children, albeit in different ways. For white children, you steal from them the ability to feel pride in who they are, their ancestors, and in their cultural inheritance. Certainly every nation and people can find stains in its history. The past was a violent and merciless place in which all sides are implicated.
White privilege requires that children of European descent are never allowed to feel deserving of what they, their parents, or their ancestors have achieved. They are never allowed to believe that they have rightfully earned anything. Consequently, they are pressured to actively give up what is theirs in penitence. This is obviously damaging and abusive for a child to endure.
Children who are raised in environments where they are consistently made to feel shame and guilt experience negative outcomes in adulthood. They are statistically more likely to engage in risky behaviors such as sexual promiscuity, criminal activity and drug use.
For non-white children, the concept of white privilege acts as an externalization of their own limitations. It teaches young children of color that if they have obstacles in their lives that they will always be burdened by them, with no possible reprieve. The focus of life’s struggle becomes about blaming “white people,” rather than cultivating the skills and self esteem which would allow them to overcome whatever life throws at them.

I’ve never had a day of white privelege, and have had to work hard for anything I have now.
A lot of this would lead people to think/live in the past (over 200 years). If this makes sense, then people ought to be hyped up about Roman domination in the past as well.
Sadly, many Christian schools (and universities) are infected with leftists, so you have to be careful if you don’t homeschool.

My privilege is that I was raised by two parents who loved each other and us, taught us right from wrong, demanded we turn in decent grades, and always expected us to grow into decent human beings. And we were surrounded by other decent human beings showing us how it’s done.
It isn’t just about shaming. They also seek to punish present and future generations of white people for sins of past generations.
They shouldn’t talk about because it’s BS.
2 years ago they were being explicit about putting straight white males at the back of the bus and marginalizing them as a group.

An orthodox yeshiva been working well with my kiddos.
Yes, they do accept gentiles. But it’s unapologetically Jewish with Jewish teaching.

The future always has been female — when Mom stayed home and raised her family, turning out decent kids who matured into responsible adults. Mom at home has more power than anyone else in the whole scheme of things, and definitely more power than being a VP of a bank or similar.

And, that is the message. Or, at least part of it. Talk about King — color doesn’t matter. If you look around and see a lot of what white folk have accomplished, mebbe that is because you are living in a European descended area. Think Sweden. I’d bet that if you went to another area of the world and looked about you’d also see a lot had been accomplished. All people are pretty much the same, except for what is in their minds. The same way they should talk about unicorns, leprechauns, mermaids, vampires and little green men.
I was trying to find my “White Privilege” back in 1962 in the bean fields picking beans for one cent a pound. It was work or starve. Then I noticed all the other bean pickers were poor white families also staving off starvation.
As I look at the past I am trying to find a time when my “white privilege” got me a job or advantage over others. Can’t find it.
