Please say a special prayer for my mother, who is going in for back/spinal surgery next Friday. This will be her third try at correcting the damage done after 40+ years of being a registered nurse, spending hours on her feet in patent leather nursing shoes, lifting and carrying patients when needed and essentially premanently injuring herself in the process. She is an 81-year-old cancer survivor who has had two previous surgeries, and can now barely walk without the constant assistance of my live-at-home sister. She has become dependent on Percocet to help relieve the pain. With God's help and blessing, she'll make it through this one last surgery and be able to complete physical therapy rehab, and no longer need to be in a mental fog and semi-stupor of painkillers so she can live out her last few years in dignity and with some semblence of self-mobility. God bless you all, and thank you for your prayers.

Pray for them to be relieved of the pain of being separated from God, for their reparation to be finished so that they will have a completely clean soul to enter heaven. Pray for them every night! They will pray for you, too if you end up in the same condition they are in. Always pray for the faithful departed.
