Forbes magazine arguably published one of the worst hot takes trying to spin the abysmal report showing consumer prices skyrocketing at record paces in June.
Following the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ (BLS) monthly release of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data showing dangerous inflation, Forbes released an absurd story headlined, “There Is No Inflation: The June CPI Headline Head Fake.” Stevens Institute of Technology Teaching Professor George Calhoun argued that the CPI was “highly distorted. They may not know how highly distorted. Currently, several factors are inflating its value – yes, ‘inflation’ is inflated – to the point where the raw CPI is practically meaningless, even misleading.” It’s too bad for Calhoun that Politico released a story on the CPI data headlined: “New concern for Biden: Could Larry Summers be right about inflation?” Axios also released a story July 15 headlined: “CEOs sound the alarm on inflation.”

I don’t need Forbes to tell me what I see everyday when I fill gas in my car , buy groceries, eat at the restaurant or even buy health insurance.

All media businesses owned by large multinationals were essentially purchased for corporate propaganda to lull Americans to sleep. Fact, media business continue to be hemorrhage money yet they never close because they serve another profitable purpose that is not related to informing their customers.
