Excessive heat? Nah, just another summer day. Here in Reno it is 93 degrees at my house, plus a breeze. Very nice really.

This isn’t unusual weather for mid-August in northern Idaho but it’s five to ten degrees over the normal July stuff. I’m ready for autumn myself.

“Excessive and oppressive heat across the Northwest will continue through at least the first half of the week where daytime highs will climb well into the 90s and low 100s."
That's pretty general. Summer heat in Eastern Washington is OFTEN in the 90s and 100s. On the West side, 90 degrees is rare - maybe three to five days a year - and 100 degrees is very rare.

Pay no attention to HAARP being turned back on. The ionosphere has nothing to do with weather. I swear.
Dont believe me? Check the FAA flight restrictions over the Alaskan HAARP facility.
The ionosphere is where cosmic rays and the solar wind cause ionization leading to cloud formation.

Are lower water tables a factor in the weather?
I know Lake Meade is at an all time low.

What? None of this is new. Media hyperbole. It’s hot an awful lot out here. I remember 106F in Salt Lake City around 1990. Over a hundred for day after day.

Where did all the water go? Oroville dam was so full they couldn’t let anymore water out a couple years back. How can the reservoirs be near historically low water marks.

Leviticus 26:3:
If you follow My statutes and carefully keep My commandments, 4I will give you rains in their season, and the land will yield its produce, and the trees of the field will bear their fruit. 5Your threshing will continue until the grape harvest, and the grape harvest will continue until sowing time; you will have your fill of food to eat and will dwell securely in your land.…
