For all those who believe that a biological male can become a female (to the point of changing one’s birth certificate), I have an honest question. If you can change your sex, can you change your race?
But this is not an abstract, philosophical question. Not at all.
Rather, as reported in the Daily Caller:
A white, British social media influencer began identifying as “transracial” after undergoing 18 surgeries to transition his race and gender, according to a series of videos.
Oli London underwent 18 cosmetic surgeries to transition into a non-binary Korean and resemble Park Jimin from the K-pop band BTS, the influencer shared in a series of videos posted Monday. The transracial influencer has begun identifying as Korean and goes by the name ‘Jimin’ with they/them pronouns.

As I have asked countless times before in different contexts, why not?
If something as fixed as biological sex (from our cells to our DNA to our “plumbing”) can be changed, then why can’t one’s race be changed? And who are we to tell someone that they are not who they really believe they are?
And is getting 18 surgeries in order to try and appear Korean any different than a woman getting multiple surgeries, not to mention a lifelong regimen of other drugs, to try to appear male?
It can even be argued that a person can change his or race more easily than a person can change his or her sex. That’s because...

Let’s ask Rachel Dolezal and Shawn King......................
I self-identify as a lesbian African American woman. :)
didn’t Elizabeth Warren change hers?
Why not?
..."race" is a mere social construct and/or imaginary concept anyway.
Regards,
I wondered that as well when everybody jumped on the Rachael Dolziel (sp?) woman. I guess it’s “wrong” to appropriate someone’s racial victim status?
If you believe we were all born automatically attracted to males or females (believing in a gay gene) but not born male or female ourselves (we choose that) ... you might be a Democrat.
Has anybody really thought that those two beliefs can't possibly be right at the same time?
If you could change your sex, you could change your race. But you can’t so no.
I think this is the card to play.
Afterall, sex is a matter of chromosomes. You’re either XX or XY — barring extremely rare genetic problems. Objectively, science can conclude Male or Female. But we seem to live in a flexible society in which sex is now “whatever you want”.
But race?
Everyone is a complex stew of genetic backgrounds from various continents. Elizabeth Warren? Barack Obama? Kamala Harris? Nothing is simple. It’s not “A or B”. It’s “some of this, some of that, maybe that other thing”.
In a flexible society such as ours, why can’t I decide to be black? Will anyone demand that good ol’ Objective Science prove me wrong?
Hm, that’s actually a very good point.
Can I change my marriage status from divorced to married again, so I can go back and claim 42 years of alimony from the lying, cheating bastard?
I did years ago. First, I did the 880 yard run. Then I switch to 3 mile Cross Country. It took some work to be accepted but eventually I was treated like one of the group.
Kinda wonder why Ethiopians are classified as white; although black they have Caucasian features.
The map is not the territory. One’s subjective gender identity is not one’s objective biological sex
I self identify as a sea urchin.
Can I not claim to be a different age? Who is anyone to tell me I'm 10 years old and am not allowed drive a car to go purchase alcohol and cigarettes.
Why not claim I identify as a citizen of any country I wish? Who is anyone to question that?
Can I not claim to be a different species? On Mondays I wish to be a sloth.
Can I not claim to be Emperor and demand everyone bow to me?
While I'm at it, I'll order the waves of the ocean to cease.
marxists believe a lot of wacky things
