Was in Paris on 9/11. Lots of celebrating going on with the non natives. Will never forget it.
The natives were very nice. We are all Americans was said to me repeatedly. By the natives, not the non natives.

Many of us also saw the nightly news on July 17, 1996 the vid of TWA 800 being taken down, viewed/videoed from a shore bar deck.
That vid quickly disappeared.
