A brave 11-year-old girl claims she was suspended from school after refusing to wear a mask in her overheated classroom, claiming the requirement was child cruelty.
Jenna Miller is a BMX racer and a student at Cahill Elementary School in New York.
Miller took to Instagram on Wednesday to criticize her school for forcing students to “muzzle” themselves in classrooms that sometimes reach temperatures of 90 degrees.
“Today was a hard emotional day for me. Today I stood my ground and I was very adamant to standing up for what’s right and making it known it’s not a safe environment no longer being in a hot classroom with no Air conditioning with temperatures yesterday of 96° and today was a high of 86° masked and slaved to concentrate and do work at our desks with sweat pouring off of me,” Miller captioned a photo of herself leaving the school.
“I love the heat I know what it’s like to be in the heat I race Bmx year around in full uniform the only difference is I come off the track soaking wet I’m able to drink freely, I’m able to breathe in the fresh air without a muzzle to my face this is inhumane,” she added. Tagging her school district, she continued “@saugertiescsd refuses to unmask us. @saugertiescsd refuses to ease the guidelines that we have to wear our mask during gym class and outside in excess of temperatures.”

So now they stop listening to the CDC.
Forcing kids to wear masks is child abuse. The teachers for forcing it and the parents for allowing it.
Go Jenna! We need more kids like her…”just say no.”
An 11yo with more common sense than the DC.
Schools have become indoctrination centers. The penalty for resisting indoctrination is suspension.
Science brought us this virus. Those blue masks are worse than useless.
I’m reminded of the father that beat the crap out of his daughter’s abusive teacher. It was a good story.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
This story will likely drop from the news now, but it would be instructive to be able to follow it further. Will she be expelled? Will her parents be targeted for reprisal? Will Social Services pay them a visit? etc.
I would not be surprised at any of those actions by the police state.
