Lots of people hate Alex Jones. Granted, he loses his mind live on air often... His style is abrasive and, at times, psychotic. So what?
He’s also been right about a lot – often decades before other media figures. For it, he has spent his entire career on the fringes of the fringe “far-right” in the political wilderness
Limp, finger-in-the-wind politicians and well-heeled corporate-funded “journalists” could learn something about passion and conviction....
Ill-tempered gadfly; decorum-free monkey wrench; digital pirate ship; choose your metaphor....
Back in the 90s and aughts — when he was just a local nuisance to the Texas political machinery — Alex Jones talked about NSA spying before anyone knew who Glenn Greenwald or Edward Snowden were....
A huge percentage of his dire predictions came true, and worse.
A decade ago, on the July 6, 2010 broadcast of InfoWars, Jones portended, at least in part, the COVID civil liberties mess we find ourselves in:
“I don’t want you to sit here and hear me make these claims [about quarantines, limited movement, forced vaccines, GMO food, biometrics ID cards] …they’re producing these policy papers so fast that you could never read them all…
You’re not going to be able to go to the ball games anymore. You’re not going to be able to just go out and get drunk with your friends. You’re not going to be able to just go out and enjoy yourself… The only chance we’ve got of beating this scientific dictatorship… is for the rank and file of this planet to realize that you have a choice to make on what your destiny’s gonna be.”
What seemed outrageous and conspiratorial at the time now seems, in light of the events of the past year, merely an accurate accounting of the present sad state of affairs....

“Lots of people hate Alex Jones.”
HE IS A NUTCASE...
But he’s our nutcase. :)
Sorry, but he is a fruitcake, nut job, nutcase that does nothing but make conserves and patriots look bad.
Philosophy question - If a madman states something that is proven to be true, what does that indicate?
Perhaps the madman is not so mad?
Perhaps the rest of society is mad and just does not know it?
Perhaps the madman was lucky?
Perhaps the madman has insights the “normal” people do not?
Who is wiser? A hundred fools or one wise man?
Personally, I think that a National Monument needs to be erected to honor the late Senator Joseph McCarthy. He did his damnedest to warn us about the Communists among us. It’s our fault that we did NOT heed his warnings.
On the other hand a prophet by Hebrew law had to be correct 100% of the time.
Being wrong was a death sentence.
If it takes 10 years to prove Alex Jones right on one thing do we give him 20 years to be right on something else?
I think it is, I want to say anyway, The LotusEaters, who are planning on doing a podcast on what Jones has gotten right. I think it is going to be on their subscriber access only channel, though.
They said they thought it was going to be about only two things when they started out researching what Jones has said and how it panned out for him in terms of him being right, but they were surprised how much material they ended up with as far as how accurate he was.
““Lots of people hate Alex Jones.”
HE IS A NUTCASE...”
Yep. If someone is a nutcase I don’t really care about their politics.
I agree, never ever trust Shauna Vannity
This!
I am no fan personally of AJ, but he is consistently correct about many things. I trust him more that Hannity, or Fox News. I trust Tucker, and everyone else is a face with an attitude that would change if given enough money.
Dan Smoot was also a watchman on the wall who was called a right wing, but was subsequently proven to be prescient.
He yells and screams and slobbers and works those two other Infowars chumps to death. But he is right more than not. He just appears crazy because he is.
Maybe they could name a landfill after him.
The most recent Joe Rogan Experience podcast with Alex Jones is a CLASSIC.
It is on Youtube if you care to watch it.
The man is a narcissist. But once you look past that, it’s not about Alex Jones, it is about the contacts and platform he gives some true insiders. You have to listen to a lot of ads and a lot of his narcissism, but his guests are either nutcases, but he has also been the first to report on dozens of so-called conspiracies that have proven out to be true. Like any source of information, you have to separate the wheat from the shaft so-to-speak. Anyone who doesn’t bother to listen to some of his guests find out the hard way. But you also have to listen to UFO and some Bigfoot type stuff. I do believe the man is a patriot as well. And does better journalism than the NYT, or even the Washington Times occasionally. Most people can’t get past his rages and chest beating and endless health product commercials. You’d be a fool not to at least hear what he has to say. But people either love him or hate him but its not about him. He has access to true whistle blowers.
