Who else but BTS could break a BTS record?
With their latest English-language single "Butter," the Korean supergroup shattered their own record for most YouTube views in the first 24-hours of release on Friday, reaching nearly 113 million views by midnight ET, according to the platform's public views tracker.
The previous record was set by BTS's 2020 single "Dynamite," their first entirely in English. According to official YouTube figures, the video received 101.1 million views in the first 24 hours, despite having 98.3 million public views.

I guess I’m the only person on earth who has never heard of this “super group”.
Make that two.
Three...thought this was a recipe headline
I am pretty sure my IQ and testosterone just dropped for watching a minute of that. Snazzy tune I guess, but I don’t think we will be withdrawing our troops from South Korea anytime soon.
Oh yeah, BTS. Of course. That supergroup.
The Beatles couldn’t hold a candle to them.
Who the hell is BTS?
Sounds like dim election counting.

They are a South Korean boy band.
Very popular with preteen girls and gay little boys. The usual boy band formula, too. Skinnier and more makeup perhaps.
Four.
How many data farms had banks of computers generating the plays?
This is how hits are “made” these days.
That explains why Bidan knows about K Pop groups.
Funny, Bidan does not like USA pop music
Someone should BTK BTS.
They are a rage among teen girls. They are great dancers. They exemplify teamwork - been together for years- and they are clean
I don’t get them but the kids see something in them.
It is a very good thing.
Kpop is what the Menudo of Korea and the US music industry has tried to make this a thing here.
In part they raved how fans in US would pay for billboards in Times Square to promote kpop acts. So the record label does what exactly? And what do the fans get?
I prefer GS group sounds bands from Japan 1962-1970 or French YeYe Pop of the 60s myself to this.
And a couple years ago Sony and others wanted to make Bollywood Hindi music #1 global on the charts they figure they start with a base audience of a billion people so ergo it’s the next Beatlemania.
I hate the music industry. It’s crap.

A few years ago music companies were paying for Youtube ads and streaming their songs in the ads and those were counting towards the “hits” counts.
The song is catchy and danceable but why have all the boys been emasculated they look like girls. Sad.
I had a pretty good run. I was even listening to alternative bands like War On Drugs, Radiohead and Panda Bear well into my 40s.
But now I reckon I'm one of those clueless old fogies because I literally have no idea who "BTS" is.
