Delaware state police arrested a Democrat state lawmaker for punching a woman in the face at a restaurant on Saturday evening.
Democrat state senator Darius J. Brown, 39, reportedly got into an argument with a woman at Taverna Rustic Italian Restaurant when he punched her in the side of the face and threw a glass of water.
State troopers arrived to the restaurant Saturday night after the 44-year-old female victim informed them she had been punched in the side of the face.
The two were reportedly arguing over a social media post when Darius Brown punched the woman and threw a glass of water which “broke into pieces.”
Darius Brown was charged with offensive touching and disorderly conduct.

Delaware must be a real s hole.
Delaware is 3 counties (roughly dividing the land into thirds). The northern-most county, New Castle, is full of gov’t leeches and gibbs-me-dats. It’s massive population advantage decides all state and federal elections.
The center county, Kent, is a mix of the above, state government workers, and some decent, hard-working folks.
The southern county, Sussex, is a red hot-bed and full of very decent, hard-working folks. It’s a pretty nice place to visit.
Just stay away from Rehoboth Beach. It’s San Francisco of the east. Fecal felons and carpet cleaners everywhere.....

Sloppy writing. Assault is threatening....for example cocking your fist back putting somebody in reasonable fear.
Battery is any “harmful or offensive” touching.
