The Biden administration pulled all US troops from Israel today as the country continues to come under assault.
Who does this help? Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Iranian regime

The United States withdrew 120 military personnel from Israel and is warning Americans against traveling to the region due to escalating violence in the conflict between Israel and Palestinian territory controlled by the militant group Hamas.
Defense Department spokesman John Kirby told reporters during a press briefing Thursday that the military personnel were from U.S. Central Command and European Command. They were flown out on a C-17 military transport jet to Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
“We made this decision to remove these individuals in coordination with our Israeli counterparts,” Kirby said. He added that some personnel were in Israel ahead of a planned bilateral event, but were withdrawn in response to escalating violence.

I read this as Military Personnel....not “troops” which implies fighting soldiers.
First Biden restores the flow of money to Hamas.
Then withdraws when Hamas attacks Israel.
And is silent about the attacks.
One would hope they either took with them or destroyed all encryption keys, encryption publications, and encryption equipment....

Any additional sources for this? While I don’t dismiss Gateway Pundit outright, seems something quickly verified by other competing sources - and if those don’t report something this big, I have to wonder about the article’s detail and veracity.

Meh. This is symbolic... and not necessarily a bad thing. In my view, our troops haven’t done much actual “assisting”. More often, our having personnel there ties Israel’s hands.
I’m reasonably sure it’s meant as a slap... I just don’t think it’s going to have the desired effect.

They were there training on Iron Dome and other of our countermeasures.
They did man batteries, but it was to learn.

Makes complete sense. Didn't see it in this article, but others note that the troops withdrawn were on a joint planning mission for an upcoming joint exercise. Needless to say Israel is currently engaged in an "exercise" and I suspect the Israeli counterparts our troops were to meet with are otherwise occupied.
Those troops were there as a tripwire - they die and the US gets involved.
They’re not really necessary for anything.
We have a commander in chief who will not recognize allies vs foes. What a great message to send our other allies who are sending ships to the south China Sea!
We did not have troops there to defend Israel. Pulling our people out in the midst of something like this might have been a precondition to their being there in the first place. Israel would be responsible for defending them. I don’t think our people are wanted or needed there at the moment.
