Neighbors’ security footage further debunks leftists’ theories about the Columbus OH shooting from earlier this week.
A security camera across the street from where a Columbus Police officer shot and killed a 16-year-old girl holding a knife shows a wide-angle view of the deadly shooting.
The police bodycam footage released by the Columbus mayor showed Makiyah Bryant attempting to stab someone as the officer acted swiftly and opened fire, fatally striking her.
The Columbus officer rolled up on a chaotic scene and had no choice but to discharge his weapon in order to save lives.

This new video shows a new angle of the officer-involved shooting death of 15-year-old Ma’Kiyah Bryant.
The neighbor, Donavon Brinson, gave his security footage to police and said if not for the officer’s heroic act, more people would have died.
The Daily Mail reported:
Ma’Khia Bryant’s military veteran neighbor has said his home security camera footage proves Columbus Police Officer Nicholas Reardon had no choice but to shoot the black 16-year-old because more people could have been killed if he hadn’t acted.
Donavon Brinson told Fox News Thursday morning he believes Bryant could have fatally stabbed the young woman she was seen lunging at with a knife if the cop hadn’t opened fire in Columbus, Ohio, Tuesday afternoon.
‘He could have either not fired and the young lady in pink could have been stabbed in the neck and brutally or fatally injured and then he could shot [Bryant] and we could have had two [young women] dead – or he could have responded in the way that he did and one young lady lost her life,’ he said.
His comments come as a second neighbor said he believes police bodycam footage shows Bryant was in ‘full attack mode’ and ‘needed to be stopped’ because a ‘young lady’s life was at stake’.
The new angle shows the Columbus police officer immediately trying to deescalate the situation before firing his weapon.

A body camera footages from other officers were also released from the fatal police shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant.
In one of the videos, the victim that was attacked by Ma’Khia Bryant can be heard saying: “She came after me with the knife, so the police got her”

How can people still riot after this?

If Someone Held a Knife with the Clear Intention of Stabbing You, How Would You Like an Officer to Respond?
Was he not filming with his phone yelling “WORLD STAR”? That is oft the case. 🙄
Looks like the same video but looks like he hit on all shots.
She would have killed that girl. She was going to stab her for sure. In the chest. And could have hurt that dog. Glad the dog is ok.
“The dog is okay. “
YAAAAY!
The cop should have shot everyone at the scene because nobody was wearing a mask. :-P
He had a choice. He could have let Citizen 1 kill Citizen 2.
In Chicago they do it all the time. Year-to-date, I saw reported, some 952 Citizens have been shot down in the streets when the police failed to intervene successfully.
To be clear, not all were actually “shot down in the streets.” Some were eating breakfast at the table before heading to school when they were shot. And most were not killed; just shot down.
I seldom hear it said Chicago police should be more aggressive in dealing with criminals so they (police) must be doing it about right.
It does break my heart that she was a foster child. Who knows how often she was abused. She’s a broken person. I’m not saying that the shooting wasn’t justified, I just feel sorry for people like that.... so young and broken.
Note the female cop at the scene. As soon as the heroic cop fired, she started running away from the scene. Seems that she came more as an observer than a partner
And gives the lie to NBC's deceptive "knife on the ground when shot" story.
"Throughout the report, a [NBC Nightly News] graphic at the bottom of the screen read, "POLICE FATALLY SHOOT 16-YEAR-OLD BLACK GIRL HOLDING KNIFE" and a still image from the bodycam footage showed a knife on the ground."
NBC consciously and unethically twisted the news into an anti-police pretzel.
Here is a pair of screenshots that tell the story. They offer visual proof that the girl in pink was a millisecond away from having her throat or body cut wide open.
The full force of Ma'Khia Bryant's considerable bodyweight is behind the final knife thrust as seen in the 2nd freeze-frame.
The officer's expert marksmanship saved a life milliseconds before that life would be terminated by an enraged Ma'Khia about to put her full 200 pounds behind the knife plunge.
Were it me, I would still take it to the vet to check for internal injuries.
It’s an awfully small dog caught up in all that stomping around.
Sorry, I think I was wrong. She seems not to be a cop on closer observation but one of the neighbors taking cover
The only police involved in shootings that are honored in DC, are dead ones laying in the Rotunda for Democrat photo ops.
$10 says he shot her in the ass. It was center mass, big target. You could say it was a center-ass shot.
Bkmk
If she hadn’t been a dumba55, she’d be alive today. The blame is on her and only on her.
Guessing she had some poo on her shirt.
My favorite was the one male in the group, who waited for a woman to be pushed to the ground, then kicked her in the head.
The thugette was not “one young lady” Nope.

Candace Owens: “knife wielding maniac” ....
Sounds right to me.
There is no question the police did the right thing in this instance. With the George Floyd thing, it was different. Why would a police officer kneel on a man for 9 1/2 minutes unless he was a bit touched?
