Why is this surprising to anyone at FR? If we can talk at FR about what a bunch of loser wimps the GOP is/are, it stands to reason that the FBI, DOJ, and other agencies view them that way, too. These agencies have been overrun with Obama acolytes who have no intention of doing anything "by the book", and will screw the GOP every opportunity they get. And why wouldn't they? They don't fear strongly worded letters, but that is the only action the GOP ever takes.

There are those who conjecture that many mass shooters are groomed by our intelligence agencies to push anti-gun or other agendas.

While I don't consider myself an advocate of these theories, neither do I fully dismiss them. I think the ruling in this shooting is curious, because if an agency or criminal enterprise were to identify somebody to be groomed as a mass shooter, one would look for somebody with the profile of a suicide by cop candidate, and give them cause, purpose, direction and means to bring their existing nascent plan to fruition.
